Great location across from the Harpa Center (which is well worth a visit and has a couple of interesting shops too). An easy walk for shops and restaurants and tours will pick up at the hotel. We were accommodated with an early checkin (it's 40 Euro with breakfast for an early checkin; there wasn't a charge for us but no...

Stayed at Centerhotel Arnarhvoll for 4 nights in February. The hotel is in a great location - right next to the Harbour and a short stroll away from the main street, bars and restaurants. The sky bar is also great with fantastic views over the harbour at breakfast. Some people in our hotel also were lucky enough to see the...

We arrived just after visiting the blue lagoon and were checked in very quickly. We also were told the use of the spa was included in our room. Great start.. The room had everything we needed, yes as other reviews have said they're a little small but you're in Iceland why worry what size the room is. The bed was...

We just spent 4 nights at the Centerhotel Arnarhvoll hotel. The hotel was nicely situated right across from the Harpa Centre and the foot/bicycle path that ran along the Harbour. While others have indicated you might be able to check in earlier than the 2:00 pm check in time, we tried shortly after noon but were not successful. Having taken...

We had two nights here and it was very enjoyable. Rooms were clean and modern. Reception staff were really helpful and welcoming. Location is pretty fantastic too. Right on the sea front and barely a five minute walk to the town centre. The free breakfast was brilliant too.

We decided to take short trip to Iceland and had very limited time to book hotel. Arnarhvoll was not our first choice but the hotel we wanted was completely booked out. Without any other available hotels in the city center we just went for it! And what a great experience we had, it's not 5 star hotel but they don't...

This hotel is perfectly located for exploring the city. Service was excellent, from the staff at the Sky lounge to reception. The room and beds were comfortable, noise was minimal and Wi-Fi worked great. The only downside was that the bathroom, and especially the shower, was very small - that's common in Iceland, but it was the worst of all...

Location and the view from this hotel are excellent. It's located very near to Harpa and Solar (The Viking ship sculpture at the promenade). Breakfast is served on the 8th floor with nice view of the harbour but the food was just OK with enough amount of fruits but the scramble egg was too hard and dry. The lobby was...

Excellent short break, hotel very central, clean, comfortable with lovely food and very helpful staff. Lovely views from the restaurant on the 8th floor over the harbour. I would have no doubts about returning to the Centrehotel Arnarhvoll if in Reykjavik again. Ax

I was immediately disappointed with our hotel room when I saw the view, or lack thereof (see photo). The bathroom was tiny, with a poor excuse for a shower. Very disappointed when we were told we had to pay to use hot tub and sauna. All the things that looked so attractive on the internet photos, were not to be...
