The hotel offers everything you could want on a trip to beautiful Iceland, it's just a damned shame there is a nightclub a few doors away. It's 3.50am and for the 3rd night running it's like you're trying to take a nap in the middle of a club, you can hear everything word for word our rooms vibrating and there...

Brilliant location for the centre of Reykjavik. Rooms are nice with plenty of amenities and breakfast is brilliant. Andrea on reception is a credit to the hotel she is extremely friendly and helpful, she assisted us in re-booking and changing trips when ours were cancelled due to bad weather. Overall great stay would definitely recommend.

This is one of the most spectacular places in the world to visit and this hotel provided a wonderful (& more importantly warm!) Base! Staff were very helpful and breakfast in the skybar was a great way to set up your day

Clean, comfortable and right in downtown Reykjavik. Affordable, too. This is an excellent property with very accommodating staff, and all amenities. The front desk manager even helped me work the standard shift in my rental car!

It really pains me to give this hotel a poor rating as there is much to like about it and its lovely staff. The hotel was booked by an agent as part of a tour and it was only closer to my arrival date that I started to look at reviews. I was worried by the ones which mentioned noise...

This is a smashing hotel. Quick, efficient and friendly service that gives confidence. Location could not be better. Serene inside. Very clean. Excellent breakfast. We had one meal in the restaurant - very good indeed including the best lamb I have ever tasted! Recommended unreservedly.

Absolutely stunning hotel with great staff, we asked for a quiet room and they got us one on ground floor that was silent:) every bit of furniture seems to be unique. Room 12 by the way . Would definitely recommend and stay here again when we visit Iceland again:)

Lovely, small hotel in a great location. We were met on check in by very friendly staff and complimentary cups of hot chocolate. We had 2 rooms on the 3rd floor at the back and were concerned about the noise from the club as noted in other reviews. We needn't have worried, we heard nothing from the club and slept...

The hotel is described as a boutique hotel, which it lives up to. We stayed here for 4 nights. Though the hotel could do with a lick of paint in a couple of areas (very minimal though), it's location is fantastic. We had a room at the back, not the best view, but it's dark until about 11am anyway! The...
