We stayed at this hotel on the last night of our five day trip around Iceland. While the location was excellent, the hotel was very disappointing. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient at check-in. We headed up to our second floor room and immediately noticed the construction materials all over the hallway. Apparently they're undergoing a major renovation...

Start on the positives, only 2. Great location and I enjoyed the breakfast, that is it. Stayed on 2 different occasions because of the tour I was on First stay was a horror story. Large room but the sheets were stained and had holes in it. The curtains were torn, the hand basin in the bathroom was cracked and I...

We arrived early morning and the Front Desk Staff gladly stored our bags for us and gave suggestions how to spend the day before check-in later that afternoon. Although we had rented a car for sight seeing in the region, we found that everything we wanted to see within the city was walking distance from the hotel (tourist center, shops,...

More like Motel 6 than a hotel. Not that Motel 6 would be bad, if you are not paying for the high hotel rates. After 5 nights, paid for an upgrade to a larger room, but it was below the street level, like a garden view window. The cars were driving above where we were sleeping, lots of street walkers....

Worst of all is the noise from the party people outside which just gets worse as the weekend gets closer also the...

Despite my call on the day before to validate my reservation 1 month ago for a superior room reservation for 5 nights I was sent to an horrible hotel of the same hotel group when I arrived. One of my colleague had the same issue, so this must be a common practice of that group.

The room wasn't ready as we arrived quite early in the day but they will gladly store your bags/luggage. Our room was large with a nice clean bathroom. The location is superb - right near many sights, shops and restaurants. Would stay here again.

No parking and no help to find parking. Beds are horrible and uncomfortable. Tv did not work and they kept promising to fix but did not fix. As the final stay of our 2 week honeymoon very disappointed would not recommend it.

The hotel is in downtown Reykjavík, great location and great staff. We had a room overlooking the square which was spotless and comfortable and a decent size. They do have smaller rooms and we did have a look at one when the maid was cleaning and it was small but you never spend any time in the rooms to be...

This hotel is located in the tourist area. it is in walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and attractions. The rooms are very small and cramped. We were there with a tour group so this is what was chosen. There were renovations going on during our visit. The breakfasts were adequate but nothing special. The breakfast room was located in the...
