This hotel is really centrally located. The rooms are a good size and clean but all very functional and impersonal, shower had good water pressure. Wifi was useless, we could only really pick it up in the corner of our room and in the lobby. Staff were pleasant, breakfast was a buffet- good selection of bacon, eggs, yoghurt, flapjacks, juices...

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. It is an amazing location and has wonderful views of the harbour on one side, the landscape on another and views of the city from its downtown location. The rooms are very warm, cosy and spacious and have everything you need for a very comfortable relaxing stay. Full cooked and continental breakfast is...

Centrally located. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Also within walking distance to the waterfront, Harper, the Hallgrimskirkja and bus lines. Rooms were adequate, beds were comfortable. Buffet breakfast was very good. I found the staff to be friendly. I would definatley stay there again.

Average hotel- clean , warm with poorly trained staff especially the lazy Australian who could barely be bothered to swivel the Grayline sign in my direction when I enquired about the evenings planned northern lights tour. Will be back to Iceland but not at this hotel nor family or friends if they ask !

My husband and I booked our first trip to Iceland on a week's notice and found this hotel quite charming. The location was perfect for us -- right downtown and close to the harbor, Harpa, and Laugavegur. There were plenty of restaurants within a block (or even just across the street) and a skating rink just steps from the hotel....

This is a perfectly located hotel for the centre of Reykjavik but don't expect a quiet night. I stayed for three nights and resorted to ear plugs in order to try and drown out the noise from nearby bars and nightclubs which go on until around 4 am (the time we took a bus back to the airport and some...

Stayed here for Eve Fanfest 2016. Was very impressed with the staff on reception they were very helpful throughout the entirety of my stay and always helpful, was also able to check-in a bit earlier than the time stated which was great. Breakfast was good, location of the hotel is great. 10 minutes from the entirety of Reykjavik.

Had a very enjoyable 3 nights in April in the Plaza. Nice and central; close enough to shopping, restaurants and Old Harbour. Buffet style Breakfast was excellent, everything you could want - except FRIED eggs but I didn't want them anyway!! I loved the oatmeal and cranberry bars and would love that recipe - scrummy. Plenty of bacon, sausage, scrambled...

Smooth and swift booking. Nice to have special offer for EvE Online Fanfest 2016. Really nothing to complain about. Stayed for the second time, new restaurant since last visit. Excellent central location in Reykjavik.

Everything about this hotel was very good, the service, the breakfast, the rooms. However, the best feature of this hotel is the location. It is perfectly central, allowing for easy exploration of the entire city centre on foot. There are a number of great restaurants and bars (the laundromat cafe in particular) within a literal stones throw of the lobby.
