Location, great location right in city centre overlooking central square, ice rink, bars, food vendors, lovely cosy, winter wonderland feeling. Noisy till late at night but that's what we wanted, city life atmosphere. Hotel, clean, modern bar and lounge area, very basic dining room and tiny little bedroom, bedroom size was disappointing, but on flip side lovely large modern shower...

Firstly the location of this hotel is excellent. The staff and everything else however is another matter. The staff didn't make us feel very welcome, they didn't tell us how to locate our room (which was like navigating through a maze - poorly signed), no information about breakfast, wifi etc. We were given a room at the very back and...

Our room was in the old part of the hotel with a great view of the building wall next door. The room and bath were warm and clean. Good hot water and water pressure. The sulfur smell of the hot water was faint, but doesn't stay on the skin. The water was so soft and soothing and more than made...

We spent 6 nights in the hotel and it was a great experience in all areas from staff to food. Room clean, breakfast perfect. All the breads were fresh and a wide variety were offered. The staff was extremely helpful to all of us- arranged tours and suggested places for touring and eating. The location could not have been better....

Me and my partner stayed from the 8th (Friday) till 11th (Monday). Through our stay we didn't really experience any problems. We arrived and got given a room on the 5th floor. We asked prior to staying if can be located on a high floor due to personal fears I have and they were not hesitant to meet my needs....

This hotel is ideal if you're looking to explore Reykjavik. We opted for the superior rooms which were good with nice views over the square. Nothing fancy or luxurious but nice and clean. You can not beat this location - we were able to walk to every restaurant we wanted to eat at and you're right beside the tourist center...

This is hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to shopping and the best restaurants in the city. The hotel is like 3 hotels now in one. I found it a bit difficult to find my room, like a maze. The staff at the desk wore many different hats and were good at all. They have all...

We booked through Secret Escapes. This included a 3 night stay, Northern lights tour & Golden Circle tour. Our flight from Luton was 7:45am. There's no time difference so we arrived at Keflavick airport at 10:30am. The transfer bus was easy to find, right outside. It took 45 minutes to reach our hotel. We were amazed seeing the beautiful mountain...

Right in the center of Reykjavik, directly opposite the main street; very close to shops, restaurants and the harbour. I stayed on the second floor at the front of the hotel and didn’t hear anything outside but I would recommend light sleepers to request a room at the back of the hotel. The bed and pillows were very comfy and...

Located in brilliant spot close to shops, restaurants and waterfront. Short strolls to all of these. Hotel rooms themselves clean and warm but not quiet due to street noise, and rooms due for refurbishment.
