I stayed in this place for 5 days. It was near the attractions. Although the room was small, it was clean. There were five or six rooms sharing the same bathroom and this may make you wait. The owners were quite friendly and helpful. The only problem was that they were preparing the breakfast at a quite early time and...

Really enjoyed staying at this house! We had the suite, which fit all 5 of us comfortably. There were two bedrooms and the couch converted into a bed as well. The space was lovely, simple, and very cozy. One of the best things about this guesthouse is that it is walking distance from the main streets of Reykjavik! Love the...

Lovely guesthouse in the heart of Reykjavik, just a few meters away from all the main attractions, shops and restaurants. Rooms are nicely decorated, warm and clean, the kitchen is fully equipped and really modern. Wi-Fi is available in all areas too. Free washing machine and tumble dryer available to use. Good breakfast in the morning. Owners are really nice...

Very close to center, clean and comfortable with helpful and friendly owner. Good breakfast, coffee available all day. Free laundry facilities which proved very useful. Staff happy to book the airport bus which picks up right outside the guesthouse

I had a positive experience at this guest house. It was affordable for its location blocks from the water and from Laugavegur street and other attractions. It's no frills - my room had a single bed, a night stand and some hooks, with a little floor space for my bag - but the breakfast was ample and they were more...

The guesthouse is located quite close to the centre of the town, easy to find. The rooms are small but cosy. Everything is very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with food (for breakfast) and at least 20 different teas you can chose from. We arrived quite late, were tired and did not pay attention to the lock...

Just back from 4 days at Skuggi and it was all we could have expected - rooms were small but clean and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Good free wi-fi. Continental style breakfast available from 7.30 til 10.30, mostly help yourself and take a pew. Upstairs eating area/kitchen quite small but the place only accommodates 10 so no...

In an Icelandic travel world where few places are actually located where nav sends you and even fewer have 24/7 staffing, skuggi was super well-organized, sending us a welcome email containing details of what room we were in, exactly how to get into the building, and making arrangements for us to arrive at any time, even if no one was...

I stayed here for one night on a stopover. The Guesthouse is in a perfect location, just a couple of blocks to the main shopping area and such. I stayed in room 5, a single room with a sink in it. The room was great....clean and small but not too small; comfy bed. The owners were very helpful with my...

We only stayed for one night, but this place is very nice. It is just blocks away from the center of town. The room wasn't huge, but it was big enough. The kitchen was also small but well stocked and breakfast was fine. The staff was friendly. There is also a washing machine available. I would give 5 stars, but...
