Worst experience ever. The hotel was under construction and didn't bother to inform the potential guests of their plans. Impossible to talk inside the hotel due to the noise. The dining area for breakfast was a joke. It didn't even fit our group together, we had to eat separately. Lack of respect to clients, if they are expecting to have...

the hotel is clean, quiet and about 14 rooms. the reception staff are extremely attentive and helpful. they gave us great recommendations for restaurants and so on. The boutique hotel is just a few minute walk from the city centre, great restaurants, museums, and shopping. the free breakfast is healthy, plentiful and typical for Icelandic included breakfasts. I suggest requesting...

The guesthouse was in a great location, within walking distance of central Reykjavik. Unfortunately, we did not get such a great welcome when we arrived at reception. The room we had was on the 4th floor (otherwise known as the loft). We paid 255€ for the room and booked through Booking.com. We were a little surprised that our credit card...

This is a small hotel located near the center of town. However, it is very quiet on a side street. The town can be quite noisy at times with music blaring from outdoor speakers. You won't need earplugs at the Hotel Hilda. The rooms are not large but they are comfortable with private bathrooms. The walk to the harbor is...

As others have said, this is really well located on a quiet street but within a few minutes of the harbour and the attractions of central Reykjavik. I arrived about 1.30am following baggage delays but was warmly welcomed and checked in quickly. The room was pleasant and nicely furnished. The walk-in shower is not an unmitigated success though as the...

The hotel is in a great location. On a secluded street and close to the main square and tourist information center. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We were however a bit surprised by the room size. The cost of the room was reasonably priced for Reykjavik. Accordingly, we anticipated smaller accommodations. However, we were rather surprised how...

Hotel Hilda is a converted 4 story house on a quiet street, but only a short walk (2 minutes) to the center of Reykjavik. Rooms are small and the elevator (yes they have one) is slow, but this is a B&B not a Marriott, besides walking the stairs to our 4th floor room kept us in shape. Our room had...

We arrived early and a bit jet lagged and the front desk was so kind. We checked in early and found the room clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to see sights around town. We returned to a great night sleep and a good breakfast the next morning. I'd stay there again anytime.

This hotel was very well appointed and has a quaint feel although it is located in the centre of town walkable to all of the major tourist sites. It is located on a side street and very quiet. Downsides: no dedicated parking for guests and a very small breakfast room. The breakfast room seats only 8 people but there must...

Lovely hotel (although I would describe it as a bed and breakfast) only 5 - 10 minutes walk from the city centre, yet in a really quiet street, and well priced for the location. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
