I stayed here with friends for a long weekend break booked through a tour company and we were really pleased by the accommodation. We had two twin rooms on the 4th floor. The rooms were fairly basic but clean, with comfortable beds and a good shower. The rooms had a fridge which is great for stocking up at the supermarket...

Very quaint, clean hotel. We were lucky to have room 508 which provides great water views. The hotel is perfectly situated a block from the restaurants and shopping. Also close to tourist attractions such as the church and concert hall. Enjoyed walking in this city.

Very central hotel. Room was basic but clean breakfast had a really good selection. My only draw back would be the trips you have to stand outside up to 30 mins before your trip time . This happens at all the hotels though not just this one. Staff very friendly and polite and spoke very good English. Would definitely recommend

Breakfast good fair choice of meats, cheese, bread & cakes. Loved the pickled herring! first rate location.100 yards from the water front. So if like us you like to just wander...

We were booked here in February. Arrived in the evening late due to record snowfall levels. At first the chap on reception couldn't seem to find our booking, then said he had put us in their other hotel. No apologies for any inconvenience or any other conversation or explanation! He proceeded to book a taxi for us, didn't ask us...

I stayed here 5th to 9th February 2017 in room 104. We had booked through Secret Escapes so we got a good package deal with flights & 2 x excursions for around £400 each for 4 nights so I am not sure what we paid for the hotel. It seemed ok to me for what we paid overall. I did...

Room a bit small but ok for what we need not as nice as the midgardur but more centrally positioned for the bars and restaurants all within a short walk. Beds nice and comfy with extra pillows on request cannot fault the staff

Great location, clean, and perfect for a few nights stay. Check in was a bit delayed due to the weather but once we got settled it was as expected. No parking but street had lots of spaces available. The breakfast had lots of choices and was a treat to have it included. All in all a great hotel for the...

We are currently staying here for 3 nights. The hotel is very clean and friendly with great staff on reception. Breakfast is continental with ham, cheese, bread, fruit, cereals and pastries. My only moan really is our room location. We are in room 103 which is ground floor next to a side road. We are unable to open the curtains...

We booked this hotel as part of British Airways Holiday package and it ticked all the boxes. Firstly the location of the hotel is excellent as you are steps away from Laugavegur which is the main shopping street in Reykjavik with all the shops and restaurants. Hallgrímskirkja, the Sun voyager, and Harpa are all in easy walking distance. The check...
