Iceland is sl clean. Perfect for family vacation. Love the blue lagoon, geysir, tunnel and falls. People are so friendly. Will go back there to watch Northern Lights again. Try the fermented shark and the whale meat. Goodluck to that. You may not see the Northern Lights as expect

We are a family of four, 2 adults and 2 children, ages 10 and 8. Do you have a room that sleeps all four of us? I see a bunkbed but not able to confirm how many people the rooms sleep. Look for three nights in early June.
I also think that they have family rooms to, a mail should be enough.

How far is this hotel from the airport?
It's about an hour drive from the main international airport. If you want to see a video review of this hotel with where to park, head over to You.Tube and search for 'Tim and Matt's Travel Reviews' where we have a video you can watch.

What is the best way to transfer between Keflavik Airport and Hotel Marina and what are approx. costs please
There is a company called FlyBus. They go from the airport to all Reykjavik hotels and there is also a FlyBus to the Blue Lagoon. Your hotel arranges door-to-door pickup when you go back to the airport. I don’t remember the cost ($30??), but it’s by far the easiest, cheapest way to get from airport into town.

We are coming this weekend and read the lady in foyer can book excursions. Is this the cheapest way? We have looked on line and found Grayline and RE who seem to be the most popular but should we book before we leave or wait until we get there? Thanks in advance
Dear Chris H, Thank you for your inquiry. The price between companies and agencies may differ depending on the tour season. I would recommend you to book directly an excursions to the tour companies such as Grayline and Reykjavik Excursion. Some of the tours you can book with us upon your arrival but for example blue lagoon you have to book it in advance as it is very popular and most of the time is fully booked. For further inquiries dont hesitate to contact us. Best regards Dolores
