My wife and I stayed at the Icelandair hotel Reykjavik Marina, we looked at a few other options when booking, including the Hilton and Icelandair Natura, we ended up picking marina because of its central location to downtown. It’s about a 5minute walk to the...More
Great time in Icelandair Marina from beginning of check-in until our departure. Excellent vacation location walking distance to most anything you want to see and the bus tour agencies always know where to deliver you. People here are overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. The room looked...More

This seemed like a smaller hotel from the advertisements we saw, but it is quite large. One side of it is on the street, and it is very long and narrow, while the other side faces the shipyards, which is quite fascinating. So it is...More
Enter this bustling hotel in the very eclectic lobby and you are in for a great experience. Our room had a view of the harbor with a small balcony. The room was a comfortable size with comfy beds. Parking was in a lot nearby, but...More

yes there are coffee making facilities , not sure about cost of breakfast as we were B & B . I think it was around 2000 ISK . It was excellent though and offered the opportunity to make sandwiches for lunch which saved us lots as eating fast food is disproportionately expensive , Soup at the Geyser resort was 1900 ISK for example. All fast food is expensive , a nice meal [we ate at SALT which is just by the hotel for around 5000 per head exc drinks .3 courses] the hotel was also very good. Secret is to leave off the alcohol then its not too bad. By contrast fish and chips [at the Iceland F&C] just up the roadand a soft drink was 2800 ISK. Book blue lagoon before yo get there, its always booked up a week in advance .
