I really can't comment on anything except it was a great place to stay and the staff was incredibly helpful. I arrived at 4:30 AM and they were able to accommodate me before my first tour. I am sure this is because I was there in November and not peak tourist season but nonetheless it was very nice and heled...

I stayed here for a week in October and I have nothing but praise for the hotel staff, who were very friendly and happy to help with any queries we had. The rooms are a little on the small side, but to be fair we were only using the room to sleep, so it was fine. The rooms were tidied...

This hotel was in a great location within a couple of blocks of the main street. The rooms provided everything needed and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast provided was great with many choices.

I really can't fault this hotel - great location close enough to the centre of Reykjavik so the restaurants etc are walkable, super friendly and helpful reception staff who will research and book excursions for you, lovely family room (double bed plus double sofa pull out in upstairs section of the room), tasty varied breakfast (with gluten free bread, crackers,...

What a place, We got the aparment which is a 2 bedroom suite with living-dining room and it's in a way different than the rest of the hotel. Being Reykjavik such an expensive place, and if you are in 4-6 people range, this is your best option, cheaper than 2 rooms. The only little thing is that there is only...

A wonderful home-base in the heart of the city. The reception staff couldn't have been more welcoming. The hotel looks as if it may be a mashup of three or four buildings, but we found our room to be very quiet and comfortable. We were on the fourth floor on the back with a lovely view of Hallgrimskirkja. We arrived...

This hotel is a little gem. It's a small hotel, and doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is very welcoming on the inside. Rooms are basic but as are all hotels in Iceland, and the room has everything you need. We had a deluxe room, which has 8 English TV channels, en suite, and balcony view of...

  • Queen bed: big mattress with 2 individual duvets. This is normal.
  • The room felt like a standard U.S. room.
  • Main shopping street is maybe 3 blocks to the right.
  • Shampoos, etc. and hair dryer are in the cabinet under the sink.
