My first visit in Iceland it was this hotel that I stayed in for a week. I booked a single room and it was tiny, I mean TINY. The interior could benefit from a renovation but it was clean and tidy, both things that matter to me. Breakfast was plenty and of great variety, more than I expected to be...

Hotel Cabin has rather small rooms (you can upgrade) but we found it immaculate, cleaned and new towels every day. the buffet is good value for money with lots of choices including fresh fruit and vegetables. the town is only a 20 minute walk away and can be accessed via sea front which is very picturesque. there is an excellent...

Dear JeanKingstonUponHull, Thank you for the review and your stay in hotel Cabin. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed hotel Cabin and everything it has to offer. I agree, no free Wi-fi is irritating and that is why we now offer free Wi-fi in hotel Cabin. I will have to try Cafe Loki and see what all the...

We had booked at Arctic Comfort Hotel and when we got there they had erased our booking and transferred us to another one of their hotels, Hotel Cabin. The room was small and there was a fresh stain on my bed sheets. The school groups were loud and running up and down the hotel corridor. Our room was in the...

Last week my sister and a friend of ours went to Iceland, we stayed at Hotel Cabin. It was billed as a budget hotel but we were delighted with it. We were in a triple deluxe room, the only difference between our room and a superior room was a hairdryer!! We borrowed one from reception so no problem. The buffet...

this hotel although isn't luxury doesn't have the customer satisfaction awards it deserves. The staff are incredible friendly, diligent and always willing to lend a helping hand. The food - its local and delicious (I'm not a fan of tomatoes or cucumber for breakfast but it's locals choice) The facilities are minimal but come on if your in your hotel...

Came here on a school trip, the room we stayed in first was a 'single' room in which we had 2 people, there was no space at all, the suitcases wouldn't fit under the bed and the TV didn't work. The next night we were in a "deluxe" room, in which we had FOUR beds, all cramped together with hardly...

Dear lonmeh, Thank you for your stay in hotel Cabin. We apologies if the hotel didn't meet you expectations. When school groups come to hotel Cabin the rooms are already booked and that we are told how many people are in each room so if there was little space than it was because the organizers of the trip put two...
