The room is tiny but clean, tidy, and warm and the hotel friendly and organised and situated well with about a 15 minute walk to the center along the stunning coast line. Although there were two school groups staying there it was quiet and the breakfast was varied and fresh. For the price we paid it was ideal as we were...

My traveling companion and I actually laughed about how tiny the room was! But, it was clean and warm and we went with the flow. Had a lovely vacation in natural, stunningly beautiful Iceland. Loved the staff; so helpful and kind.

Recently visited Hotel Cabin whilst on a trip with friends, the hotel is very basic but you get what you pay for. The hotel and rooms were warm and had what you needed. the hotel is in a good location only 5 minute walk to the nearest restaurant and a 10/15 minute walk to the town 'centre'. we had lovely...

bad points- the location isn't great in terms of closeness to the centre of Reykjavik, its about 20 minute walk which is ok in the summer but not in freezing weather. We walked it during a very windy storm and it was certainly a challenge! We had to get a taxi back as it was far too cold and icy...

If you are looking for a clean budget hotel this is the place, however it is a couple of k's outside the town. There is a frequent bus service which costs 400isk each way. Rooms clean and quiet we upgraded to de-luxe. Breakfast is continental with plenty of choice if you are down early enough. Ran out of rolls by...

We stayed here from 2 March 2015 until 5 March 2015. It is a budget hotel, perfectly clean but the standard rooms are tiny. The staff were mostly friendly and all spoke perfect English. The facilities were adequate and the breakfast very good for a cold buffet. The drinks were expensive but they are all over Iceland. The Lunch and...

Dear Hendonhippo Thank you for your review. Glad you liked our staff and our breakfast buffet. Regarding our location we are situated a bit up from town although it is easy like you said to take taxi or the bus but we are very close to this great out door geothermal pool which is very popular. It takes about 15...

This is a very comfortable, warm hotel with friendly, helpful staff who all speak perfect English. The rooms are very clean, as are the modern en suites. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding clean and warm. However, the rooms are very small with little space around the beds, which are two single beds pushed together, and there is...

We booked three nights at this 'budget' hotel. Excellent value. Spotlessly clean. Very helpful staff, particularly reception. Continental breakfast is ok.
