Firstly, you have to remember that hotel rooms in Iceland are very small and quite basic. The Hotel Cabin is no exception however they are up front about this. The superior rooms are a little larger and come with a bathtub. If your budget allows...More

Don't really see why this is listed as a hotel. It is B&B/hostel at best. No lunch or dinner menus. Breakfast consisted of standard continental fare - bread, cheeses, cold meats, yoghurt, cereal, toast - all quite acceptable.Sandwiches etc on sale in the lobby. A...More

Visited Iceland (Reykjavik ) for my 50th birthday treat. Stopped in the Hotel Cabin which included breakfast, the rooms where small but warm and clean with comfy beds. Breakfast was continental style with plenty of choice. Staff are really friendly and speak very good English....More

You could call the tour operator direct. The reception desk at Hotel Cabin is also the tour desk. If you can I recommend going on a minibus tour not full size bus. Costs a bit more but better experience.

Take the bus. It is cheaper and easy to use. About 35-40 US each.
