We stayed in Reykjavik for three nights. I'm going to start with the tiny thing that I wish was better because everything else was so perfect. We had a very early flight and arrived at the hotel at 10am so tired. One of the receptionists wasn't too helpful and just came out with 'check in is at 2, you can...

Stayed as a couple for three nights bed and breakfast in a standard room. We had one of the older style rooms that admittedly could have done with a bit of a revamp but the room was very big, comfortable and clean and perfectly functional for the amount of time we actually spent in it. There was a lovely big...

We stayed there during the middle of April. We had a family room for 4 (king with sofa bed and extra twin bed). Perfect for us and the room was comfortable. We had an overnight flight and knew we would be at the hotel around 7 am so I requested on Hotels.com to see if we could check in early....

Myself and my friend visit Island for 5 days. I booked accommodation at hotel Island. Originally I thought it was close to the city centre and included self catering facilities, however the bedroom was a twin room. However, it was still convenient as transport could pick you up from the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was...

Modern clean hotel but situated in a business park so nothing close by if you have to walk in the rain, and the nearest bus stop is a good 10 minute walk away. No tea making facilities and five basic channels on the TV. Constant loud dripping sound from the windowsill outside. Not a good place to stay on a...

Modern, spacious, clean and comfortable hotel, we booked a double standard room, and when we checked in, they kindly upgraded us, we didn't even ask to be, all we asked was, what the double standard was like and the receptionist said we'd been upgraded. We wine to our room and we were amazed as it was on the top floor...

Although we had booked a twin room we ended up with a double bed with 2 single duvets. After debating if we should request a different room we decided to stayed - we didn't actually spend much time in the room. The bathroom was very compact but functional. The staff on reception were always very friendly and helpful even when...

One lady at the reception area was rude and not approachable. Room is spacious and breakfast is good. Location is quite far from the city center 40 minutes walk. Bathroom is not clean. You can see discoloration of shower curtains that indicates untidiness. The ceiling of the room need to be cleaned also. A lots of dust accumulated and i...

Hotel was lovely, clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was delicious and when we were getting our transfer at 3 in the morning they left out croissants and more for a snack before we left for the airport. Its a bit outside the actual town but there is restaurants and shops two minute walks from the hotel. The town is...
