Fosshotel Lind is tucked down a street that is only a couple blocks from the main street in downtown Reykjavik. While we were there, the hotel was being renovated, and so this did impact our impression of it. However, our small bathroom and room were clean and minimalist, which was nice but it was nothing outstanding. One of the best...

We just stayed last week. Hotel was clean, room small but most European hotel rooms are on the small size. Shower stall is tiny and one needs to shower with the door open which is OK. Sulfur smell in water but you get used to it and the water is totally potable and tastes fine. Coffee sachets were not replaced...

When looking for a hotel for my short trip to Reykjavik I was surprised by the high prices (and not great reviews), I found this one and I have been very happy with the results. The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are not too big but enough. The beds are comfortable and the room temperature, perfect. The only...

Fantastic hotel less than 5 minutes walk to the main shopping street in Reykjavik. Also great base for seeing the sights of the city whether by foot or tour. All you can want from a hotel room with daily maid service. Tea/coffee making facilities and free wi-fi. Reception desk gave ideas for sights and trips around the local area. Lovely...

We stayed for 5 nights. The rooms are basic, but the location is excellent. All the shopping and dining is easy walking distance. Try to stay above the 8th floor to achieve a view. We stayed on the 4th floor and could only see the building accross the street. The morning buffet has some thing for every one. Each time...

Stayed at the hotel for 4 days. Comfortable place to stay with great service. The hotel was a good home base for us to do all the excursions we booked. The room is small and the Ba'ath room is small, but comparative to other European hotels where we have stayed. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel does not claim to be luxury, and does not charge luxury prices, but is smart, clean and has everything we needed. Rooms are plain but large enough, bathrooms standard but not so small (as in some hotels) that it's a pain to turn around in them! Lovely hot towel rails went down well. There was noise from the...

Fosshotel Lind has an excellent location near the end of a popular shopping area and sight seeing destinations. Most everything there is to do in downtown Reykjavik is within a miles walk from the hotel. It is clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a staple of our visit. We were all able to find...
