Stayed here for 7 nights on a room only basis in March for a holiday to Iceland. Although not located in downtown Reykjavik the hotel is approximately a 5 minute walk from the main shopping street in Reykjavik. The spa is wonderful, as is the quality of the breakfast. The hotel however comes into its own if and when you...

Not a bad hotel at all. Everything was clean and well designed. However when we arrived, the place was packed with guests. The people working at the desk and waiters in the restaurant were obviously overwhelmed by the crowds and we had to wait to check in, wait to ask a couple questions, and wait to check out. A bit...

I stayed twice in this hotel over the last month and I must say it is a very pleasant place to be in. The location is excellent, on walking distance from the city center of Reykjavik. The rooms are very nice, very clean and modern. Also the breakfast is excellent and the staff is very friendly.

The Grand Hotel is a lovely modern hotel with a welcoming reception area. The rooms are very comfortable with all the usual amenities. The location of the hotel is a little out of the city centre but is only a 15 minute walk away, there are bus stops nearby and free transport can be arranged with the hotel to take...

Very pleasant spot. Nice beds and full bath with shower good for a chuckle....bar service in lobby is comfy and friendly. We walked from Hallgrimskakirk to hotel and it's a great walk past Harp and the old harbor but not for sissies as it is over a mile or longer. Food is good Buffet breakfast the best.
