Stayed for a quick whirlwind tour of Iceland. I arrived too early for check-in but was allowed to stow my bags and go for a wander. Staff were somewhat helpful "Go down the main street" was the answer to most questions which isn't particularly helpful for first time visitors. Note, most excursions and airport connections from Gray line and Reykjavik...

Great hotel, good location. 5 min walk from shopping street, 5 min walk from bus station. 20 min walk to harbour. Rooms were basic but comfortable. Fridge and kettle in room. Only issue we had was 2 single beds pushed together. Not great for a romantic break. Breakfast was a good selection and was certainly plentiful. Staff were friendly and...

Pros. Great location central to most places and not too far from the harbour. Cons Hotel staff seemed incapable of most things, the dining room for breakfast was nothing short of a complete farce. Machines not working, tables filthy and uncleared even when people were queuing to sit down. No crookery available, guests cleaning their own tables no supervisor available...

We stayed in the Best Westerin Hotel in Reykjavik for four nights in Feb 2016 and we can not fault it very clean and very comfortable bed and a good selection for breakfast ,we did read the reviews before we went and we did not know what to expect but when we walked into our room we could not fault...

We arrived at 7am and asked for early check in, which they couldn't oblige but we went and ate breakfast while we waited for our 10am tour. Breakfast was good with meats, cheeses, breads, and a few hot items like eggs and sausage. Our tour lasted until midnight, at which point we tried to check in and they had double...

Had booked the FossHotel Baron and there was an issue there and they moved my grandson and me to the BW. Arrived in the morning and requested at the reception desk that maybe as compensation for my accepting this change, could he see what he could do about maybe an early check-in so as to unpack and change clothes for...

Located very near the city centre (15min walk), this is a good base to explore the city on foot. The hotel itself offers good rooms and beds however quite small. There is no restaurant on site but plenty of restaurants nearby. Wifi is poor in the rooms (disconnect very often) but quite fine in the reception area. Descent breakfast includes...

The staff at the hotel were great, they answered all our questions and helped us out with trips and booking restaurants. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of the centre with shops/restaurants etc. The breakfast was good. Good selection and good quality. The main bed was ok and room was adequate and clean but the kids...

Throughout our four night stay we enjoyed quality accommodation, a superb, very spacious superior room on the ground floor that we noted was fully accessible. Reception and bar staff were particularly helpful and friendly. I would mention one member of staff, Audi, who was particularly helpful in getting us a room in another hotel as our stay was extended in...

10-15 mins walk into city centre. Secure parking garage. Rooms were relatively small and basic but we were out sight seeing during the day so did the job. Breakfast was basic with little choice. 5 mins away from Hallgrímskirkja church
