Stayed here with a group. My room was small and a bit shabby but warm with a comfortable bed. The shower room was poky but there was plenty of hot water, an old fashioned hair dryer and decent toiletries. The staff were helpful and friendly. They dealt with a malfunctioning light fitting without delay. Breakfasts were good with a wide...

Amazing country, well worth the visit but beware trips will cost and journeys are long . Eating out is expensive. Book an aparthotel or one with a microwave and two hob unit . We accidentally did it right ! Landscapes unbelievably different to anywhere you will travel to . It can be done on a budget . Do your homework...

Great hotel near all the central attractions in Reykjavik. Large clean an warm hotel, however there is a lot of noise from the street outside.. Top tip is take ear plugs. A minor complaint for an otherwise great hotel. Breakfast is included and is a great start for the day.

I get slightly confused about what stars to give a hotel like the Boss. Four doesn't mean it's a Grand Hyatt with amazing rooms and facilities. However, for a budget hotel in (reasonably) central Reykjavik as the title suggests I had no complaints. The room was clean, the shower functioned properly and it was cleaned each day. The breakfast was...

Our room was one that hadn't been renovated yet - I understand some have been. It was very basic and dirty - the cleaners missed dust and rubbish behind the bedside table. Tiny shower and tap that didn't quite match the basin- View was a block of flats; breakfast very average and reception staff surly. Sorry not a lot of...

Stayed here in Jan 2017 for 2 nights, we did so much sight seeing and Aurora chasing, so not much time actually spent at the hotel, I can say the staff were really friendly and very helpful, the happy hour was a great bonus and the breakfast were fresh and really good every day, they offered fresh fruit, meats ,cheese ,fish,...

We stayed here for 4 nights whilst in Iceland. The free breakfast, location and price was what sold the hotel to us. There are more modern 3* hotels in Reykjavik but I found them to be more expensive. At the end of the day all you need is a good breakfast and decent nights sleep which is what we got....

Upgraded to a character room which was massive and really modern and nice. Could not pick up internet in it though. Had car parking facilities and buzzed in and out so it's very safe. Breakfast nice and catered for everyone. No bacon though. Staff super friendly and hotel near main streets but more opposite end to bars. Seemed like a...

Stayed here for just one night whilst passing through Reykjavik recently. The hotel is located slightly out of town, but still within walking distance of the centre. Free parking on the street is available (which is convenient if you've rented a car). They have a happy our in the lobby where you can actually buy a beer at a reasonable...

No complaints whatsoever. Friendly staff, spacious clean rooms and really comfortable bed! The location is good, takes about 10 mins to get onto the highstreet. Breakfast had plenty of choice and we were also given a bag with sandwiches and drinks in for a early pick up to the airport. The bar has a happy hour each day 5pm-8pm which...
