The hotel lobby is small, not something that will take your breath away but we had a very spacious room with a balcony but no view. It's a nice easy distance to the town centre and harbour. Breakfast is good. Porridge is the only hot breakfast on offer.

Myself and my friend have just had a lovely trip to Reykjavik. Klettur hotel was what we expected. Reception area is small and you can't access your room until 3pm. Though you can put your luggage into the luggage room. The room was adequate with 2 single beds, a fridge and a kettle. Adequate bathroom with a reasonable shower. Breakfast...

From checking in to checking out my husband and I were not impressed. The hotel staff are very off hand. The worst is in the breakfast room, you feel like you are actually in the way. The breakfast is a very poor offering for a continental breakfast. At 10am when the breakfast finishes the hotel staff come to get their...

We stayed here 2 nights. The hotel has an exceptionally small lobby that cannot accommodate all the bus tour groups at the same time. Staff not really helpful. Breakfast is basic with no variety but probably in line with the hotel 3 star status. Rooms are small but clean. If you looking for a functional hotel then this will work.

Nice hotel, but a bit off the beaten path. Plentiful breakfast with great coffee. Comfortable beds. Game room and sitting area. Small bar with nice seating. Staff was very helpful with directions and reconfirming our tours. Free WiFi.

We had two single rooms: mine was rather large , for wheelchairs maybe and clean, but under streetlevel with a nice view of the same parked car for the whole stay. The other room had a great view of a wall and was smaller. Both were drafty and with a lot of streetnoises. However, as we did not stay much...

We stayed here our first night in Reykjavik and I am so thankful they offered an early checkin (although it was about $17 extra). It was very clean and orderly, with clean bathrooms and efficient heating. The breakfast was a great selection and very fulfilling. If you want a good hotel without small talk of the staff : than you found a good hotel. Large rooms, tidly, modern and 200m of the city center. The breakfast is also good with an Icelandic touch. The staff is below average. When we arrived the recepionist was very busy, cause she was varnishing her nails on the desk....
