We stayed in this hotel from 1/29/16 to 2/1/16 in a suite room. It has a queen size bed, bathtub in a bedroom, a separate living room with mini bar which is not included in the cost of the room, with sofa, chair, desk, TV set, there was another bathroom with toilet and a shower. Breakfast was included providing variety...

Brilliant location near the main streets with a fantastic view from our lovely room. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, they had an in-depth knowledge of all of the tours without actually trying to sell you any. I definitely recommend it!

If you're looking for a comfortable, quiet yet centrally located hotel where you can walk everywhere in downtown Reykjavik, Hotel Holt is a great choice. Light, bright Scandi hotel it ain't but if you can handle a bit of dark wood and retro 70s style, you won't be disappointed. The bar has a good happy hour and a decent self-serve...

The hotel is close to everything downtown; bars, shops, & tourist. On side street so it's very quiet. No problems with tour pickups. Breakfast excellent. Rooms were great and very very clean and warm. Very quiet. Bar has happy hour which really helped with drink prices! Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Orri was especially helpful and knowledgeable....

This hotel was booked for us as part of our Secret Escapes package. The exterior is very 60's in style and very incongruous in this area of old Reykjavik where many of the properties are beautiful traditional old properties as well as many grand embassy properties. Despite its austere appearance its a little gem of a place. Its family run...

Arrived from the US very, very early yet the staff was able to get us into our rooms within an hour. We were upgraded to a suite, I think because we visited in a slower time of the year. We were able to enjoy some coffee and breakfast in the dining area while we waited. Very friendly and helpful front...

We didn't think this was anything special. Our room was very small and noisy. The bathroom could not be smaller and the breakfast was disappointing: it was not very varied and we had to share our table with other guests. The decoration feels a bit old gentleman clubby looking with dark wooden panels, oil paintings, leather and gold details everywhere....

Hotel Holt proved to be an excellent choice for an eight day stay over Christmas. We had a lovely comfortable room overlooking the city with the lake just visible. The bathroom was tiny but beautifully designed and service extremely good. We had lots of help in finding places we wanted to visit and all the staff were great. We didn't...

Stayed in October and was very happy with this hotel. Fabulous location, just couple of minutes from main strip with lots of eateries, bars, shops, etc. Great base for exploring the city. Reception extremely helpful, and although the room was very small, it was as warm as toast, very clean and very quiet. We slept like babies during our stay....
