The hotel was easy to find. It wasn't in the center (which made traffic and parking easier) but it was less than a 15 min walk to the harbor or the church. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and that really made our stay as we were only in Reykjavik for 24 hrs. The hotel was comfortable...

This is a wonderful hotel with helpful, friendly staff and a great breakfast. We stayed in the New Year and couldn't have asked for a better location. We had a mix up, which was down to the travel agent and I contacted the hotel a month or so before travel. Despite it not being their fault they rectified the situation...

This a classy nice hotel in downtown Reykjavik. My room was clean and had a great view of the city from my balcony. The restaurant was booked so I was unable to have dinner but did go to the bar. The bartender is top notch despite being very busy. The parking lots are small. I was always able to get...

Short break in Reykjavik first time at Hotel Holt and it won't be the last. Helpful staff a first class restaurant and a city centre location. You can't ask for more. A hotel with it's own character which stands out from modern chain hotels. Reception staff always ready to book excursions and transfers.

I stayed in one of the Junior Suites for 5 nights and the suite is spacious and clean. First, it has a superb location and is close to many good cafes (e.g. C is for Cookie) and restaurants (e.g. Snaps which serves buffet breakfast and a-la-carte lunch and dinner). It is also less than 5 minutes away from a Bonus...

The Hotel Holt is very central to the main area of Reykjavik. Rooms are clean and are of an average size. Staff here are friendly and happy to assist you. Our Northern Lights trip had been canceled and the man at reception kindly rang the tour company to re book us for the following evening. The breakfast room was quaint...

The Hotel Holt is a marvel. Plain and modern on the outside, it is a welcoming, warm, dark-wooded art gallery inside. The staff are very friendly and helpful; the included breakfast has meats and fish and scrambled eggs. The rooms are small, as in most (all?) Iceland hotels, but well-appointed. The showers have good water pressure, and the toiletries are...

My wife and I booked our accommodation at Hotel Holt through British Airways (along with our flights). We had printed the driving directions from Keflŷavik Airport to the hotel before leaving home (and we were glad that we did). Somewhat unpretentious from the outside, the first impression of the Hotel Holt's interior is that it is rather old-fastioned and somewhat...

We arrived at Hotel Holt, a small boutique hotel in a quiet street. Our room was not quite ready but we were early for check in - we were offered refreshments and 10 minutes later our room was ready. We had a Junior suite which was very nice. Red Leather furnishings, antique furniture, king size bed - absolutely lovely room....
