Close to everything. Hotel was clean and inviting. Breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We were able to make the most of our time because the hotel is very central and easy to get to.

The City Center Hotel was absolutely a great experience! It was located near all of the major attractions. The staff was warm and friendly and we felt very welcome. In addition, the price was very reasonable in a very expensive city...

Pleasant hotel average price for the area; right in downtown Reykjavik so we walked to a lot of the museums; plenty of restaurants around the corner. You best visit your broker before visiting Iceland; prices were over the moon. ie $8 paperback sells for $20; hamburger $10-20; fish and chips $16-25 plus $3 for tartar sauce, cab $12 drop.

I did not actually stay here so skip this review if you are not interested. However, I did book a night at this hotel (through Expedia), and now will never consider staying at this hotel (and will advise my friends who travel to and through Iceland to avoid it). I wanted to book for the night of December 27, 2017....

Dear, As you didn't inform the City Center Hotel that you couldn't make the trip and stay at the hotel, the room you booked an previously paid for was awaiting for you until the check-out time (12pm of the next day). We´re really sorry that you made your booking on a different day that the one you wished to stayed...

For the location alone, this hotel, which actually IS in the city center, is worth its nightly rate. You will be within a short walk of so many restaurants and bars as well as many touristy points of interest. My single occupancy room was a little small, but it was very clean. I have no complaints, though. The bed was...

We stayed at this Hotel just for one night. Laura at the front reception was very helpful & checked us in very quickly. The location of the Hotel can't be any better; it is close to all attractions & Bus pick-ups for day tours. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was quite nice with variety & quality of food. Would recommend this...

The hotel is very well situated for walking access to the older, interesting areas of the city. Although bar noise was a problem w/e nights, the kindness of the staff (thank you Laura, Anna, Maira, Carlos and Jose!) more than made up for the street rowdiness/noise. Food was good (breakfast included with hotel price) and rooms were very clean. Beds...

The front desk is helpful and the rooms are clean, but quite small. Just a heads up if you are renting a car. This hotel is right downtown and there is NO parking or even a place to pull off to unload the luggage. We drove around for over an hour before we found street parking. The charge is by...

Was here for 4 nights. It is located in the heart of the city centre where the shopping streets are. Less than 10 mins walk to Reykjavik attractions and museums, i.e. Hallgrímskirkja, City Hall, Maritime Museums, Harpa, Sun Voyager, many more. The hotel is clean and very basic. But if you couldn't sleep with loud noises, then this may not...

The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Reykjavik and very convenient. It is not fancy but very comfortable with nice rooms and friendly, helpful staff -- especially our favorite front desk person Laura. I shared a room with a friend, which kept the cost down to a very reasonable amount. We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights...
