Stayed here for four nights during our first visit to Reykjavik. It is perfectly located to get out and about in the city and is well staffed with helpful, polite and charming reception staff. I would happily stay here again.

Extra friendly staff. Everyone that works here is friendly and helpful. Everyone spoke English and it is very clean. Really enjoyed our stay here, it's local to a number of bars and good food places and around 5 mins from all the local attractions. We stayed in the third floor and there was vague noise from the bar across the...

The hotel is ideally situated as it is not easy to get around Reykjavik (other than on foot) and many of the larger hotels are on the outskirts-not ideal if the weather is iffy. The staff are excellent-friendly,efficient and knowledgeable.Rooms are not the biggest but showers are great. We were on the 5th floor so no real problem with noise but what...

This is a perfect place to stay if you wish to be right in the centre of the city. We were very fortunate to have a back room which was quiet and comfortable. This hotel is simple and clean whilst the rooms are not enormous. The team who run the hotel are young, energetic and very helpful. Particularly Juste who...

I stayed here for 5 days and 6 nights, the people at the desk were incredibly helpful and the maids did a good job however the actual rooms were different and the breakfast was very limited, defiantly a good stay all together, the music at night kept me up

Simple, affordable, friendly and convenient. These are not luxury accommodations, but that's why I chose it ... to fit my budget. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are small and simple. The location can't be beat. Yes, there is a nightlife scene in Reykjavik and it was a bit noisy on the street. Maybe bring earplugs if you are...

We were advised that our rooms at City Center Hotel would be Scandinavian "minimalist" - and they were. But I'm not a traveler who requires luxury in my lodgings - comfortable beds and a hot shower make me happy and City Center did not disappoint on either score. The included buffet breakfast was hearty with lots of options - pretty...

After moving from one hostel to the next during an unexpectedly complicated visit in Reykjavík and unable to stay with friends, I came to the conclusion that, given the cost of hostels in the city and my need to stay close to the downtown area, a hotel was worth the extra cost. I was able to find a good deal...

I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are adequate in size and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast buffet was better than most. In addition, you will be in easy walking distance of loads of good restaurants. I stayed here twice and both times my rooms were away from the street, so noise was not an issue....

We arrived by bus travelling from the airport. It cost about $30 per person one way and took about 45 minutes, tickets can be purchased right outside the arrivals at the airport. The shuttle drops off at the square for this hotel, which is about 100 yards from the front door. The hotel is relatively small. It is clean, cozy...
