Me and my partner stopped in the hotel through the Easter holiday. Whilst the location was okay ( not far from shops restaurants etc). The staff seemed to struggle with their English making communication hard. If I was to return to Iceland I would properly book a different hotel

Hotel staff unhelpful. Room tatty as well as rest of hotel. Hotel only served basic food which was costly. Location was poor no local shops or restaurants. Trips we booked were cancelled due to the weather.

Stayed here for two nights after arriving in Reykjavik. Not too bad a place, fairly basic but clean and quiet. A little out of town but we had hired a car so we were ok. If you are walking it may take a little while to get in. The toilet in the room was a bit peculiar as there wasnt... More

Thankfully the city itself made up for the lodgings. Not as comfortable as advertised and being able to see through the clear glass wall into the bathroom from all other parts of the room wasn't at all appropriate. A few miles from the city centre but easy access via the local bus routes, overall just a place to lay your... More

The location was some way from restaurants and town centre. We had to drag our suitcases up 2 flights of stairs, so l am assuming that's why the stair treads are worn and dangerous! The breakfast was really poor and not worth the money. It's certainly not a 4* as advertised.

For the money the hotel and its level of comfort is fair value but we were astounded at the level of care and service from the reception staff. We stayed for four nights and experienced four reception staff and they were clearly trained by the same person- a mixture of Basil Fawlty and Catherine Tate's 'Not Bothered' creation. They rarely... The location is a little like an industrial park but don't let that put you off. The room was comfortable, spacious and warm. With an ensuite and mini fridge (for storing food and drinks) They don't provide much in the way of tea sugar and no milk only powdered creamer but I'm sure if you ask for extra they will... More

The other apartments and rooms in Iceland has had a much better standard. The bathroom were quite unfresh, we had warm sour milk and cold waffles for breakfast and our bed in the bedroom (4 people) was a noisy metal bed, one lower and one above that one. The shower was really bad, looked like it was from the 50's... More

this hotel was booked by my husband he booked a surprise trip for my 40th, the hotel was great, situated just outside the city centre, very quiet and only a 20min walk from centre. The room was very clean, large, warm, comfortable, clean towels every day. Tea and coffee, great service by the staff very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast... More

Me and my girlfriend were booked into this hotel as part of a package. The hotel is a bit out of the way and requires a short walk to the bus station and a 10-15 bus journey in order to get to Reykjavik's centre. The hotel is based in what looks like an industrial estate and feel a bit iffy... More
