One of the main reasons for selecting this hotel was due to the website stating ‘Free Parking’ – the hotel has no parking!!!! It is possible to park on the street, but we had to park a distance away and walk back with our bags. Describing in as a hotel is misleading, it would be better described as a hostel...

Stayed here with my family and friends (two quad rooms) for one night. The location was very convenient to the sites in Reykjavik, and the pizza restaurant next door is very good. The beds were comfortable, and the shared bathroom for the floor was clean. The tap water did smell of sulfur, but I would guess that is common in...

The location of the hotel is great. It's in the city center. They have breakfast too which makes it convenient for travelers who have to go out to find food for breakfast. The only problem is that the wifi has problems. We were staying not on the main building. We were staying the building next door of the main building...

The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was a life saver! Fresh warm sough dough bread and juice every morning was fab. The location was perfect, central to everything and on all the tour schedules so we always got collected and dropped off straight there. I would stay again if going back to Reykjavik.

We spent one night here before heading out into the wilderness. It is in close proximity to the main part of town and free on street parking is available - though it was lucky we got a park at 6.30 pm and there was nothing available later in the night. This hotel is an excellent base for the budget conscious....

This place is more hostel like than guesthouse although it seems a lot of property is this way, that said for the price of around £85 per night which is quite cheap in Reykjavik you get a basic continental brekkie with fresh baked bread although space can be tight at times because it is shared with other property . The...

I stayed here for 4 nights last week and thought that the Guesthouse was quite good. I arrived late and had to use the buzzer to talk to the male member of staff to allow me into the building as the reception was closed. As reception had closed for the night, the keys are laid out on the reception counter...

I would not say it was good value for money but since this is Iceland and most are expensive, it's cheaper than most. The location is good near city center around 5 minute walk and Hallgrimskirkja, there's a pizza parlor just 10 meters away. The female staff is helpful and accommodating, the night shift male staff is not so receptive.Breakfast...

Good location for exploring the central parts of Reykjavik. Had an basement "apartment" with the pavement right outside our window, but fortunatelyg not very noisy during the night. Kind of "basement"-feeling but all right for just one or two nights. A bit awkward that towels weren´t provided in the room and that you had to go outside and to the...

I stayed here for 4 nights- renting a studio apartment. (Which is not attached to main building) Pros: -Private & perfectly sized for 1-2 people -Fully equipped kitchen -Relatively quiet (thin walls & some traffic noise) -Good location (right near Hallgrimskirja and main shopping streets) -Decent price -Free Breakfast (I never ate there so I have no idea about quality)...
