First we were kind of sceptical as it was located about 20 km from Goðafoss on an unpaved road. But the rooms were clean and functional. There are 2 showers and plenty of toilets available and a sink is in every room. It was great to have a restaurant at the guesthouse for dinner and the breakfast was delicious. We...

It was a bit of ride to get there. I would not recommend it for a 2wd, especially when it's wet. It will take you some time to get there. The guesthouse is located in the middle of nowhere. Really quiet. The staff is really friendly. Try to have dinner in their restaurant, it is really good. They have an...

My family had a quick and welcome reception from the attendant in our late (post-11 pm) arrival. The facilities are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the standard continental breakfast buffet was fresh and abundant. We would come back. The one catch is that the guesthouse is a 45 minute drive outside of Husavik, not in the actual town. But...

Though this is a bit off the beaten path ot was one of our favorite stops during our 2wk trip around Iceland. The staff was wonderful! We had a new room in a separate building. Our room was en suite and very clean with a mountain view. Each of our meals was tasty with fresh local food. There are 2...

The guesthouse is located quite the way from the main road and we actually got a little desperate when trying to find the place the first time.. But finally found it and were very pleasantly surprised! From outside the place looked a little worn, but the inside was very clean and our room was very spacious and bright. Enough bathrooms...

This is a former school converted into a motel/guesthouse, it's a wee bit off the beaten track (which is a feature, not a downside, given the number of tourists elsewhere in Iceland), not far from the Aldeyjarfoss waterfall. As with many other Icelandic guesthouses there's a restaurant/dining facilities attached, which in this case is necessity rather than just a convenience...

I wasn't sure what to expect before arriving at Kidagil. The drive to the guesthouse lead me to think that we were staying in a farm in the middle of nowhere. Once we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious, clean, and bright room. There is a restaurant at the guesthouse and the meals looked delicious. Even though breakfast...

Is a very confortable B&B just at the end of the Route F26, so you can relax, enjoy the surrounding area and enjoy a very good meal. The rooms are very clean, confortable, with only a sink, the showers and toilets are in the corridor, but they are extremely clean, as if they were inside your room. The food in...
