The location was fairly convenient to a day at Skaftafell National Park. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The visit was enhanced by the art collection, and by a very friendly and nice desk clerk. I think also this was the place we stayed where the breakfast buffet was from locally sourced food with information about the sources, but sadly,...

It was clean but given how expensive it was and it was a shared bathroom with at least 5 other rooms and it didn't even have a kettle on the room, I'm glad we only stayed one night and it wasn't busy.... We didn't try their food but again it was very pricy for what was described in the menu...

Simple, small but correct room and good bathroom. Good beds. Very good dinner and good breakfast. I went to the hot tub and sauna to relax after a cold and rainy day. Close to the hotel/guesthouse is a very nice old "peat"church, worth seeing.

The best thing about this hotel was its proximity to the Puffin tour and that is why we were staying there. The rooms were very small and there were shared facilities - on our floor there were 2 toilet/shower rooms for around 8 bedrooms, however this didn't cause any problems with congestion like I thought it might. I had a...

Hof 1is a simple accomodation as iceland knows how to do it. Rooms are little but comfortable, shared bathroom was big and clean. The situation is very good between Vik and Hofn close to Skaftafell parc, and there is a free parking and hot tubs. I stopped there in winter for work and it was very good for 1 night....

we had high expectations...especially as we paid a high price, sadly this hotel did not meet it, it felt more like camping to be honest...surroundings are beautiful however, we arrived late in the evening and the hot tub facility was already closed, that was a dissapointment as i was looking forward to that, our room was a very basic very...

First, the 'town' of Hof is basically in the middle of nowhere with no amenities outside of the hotel. This isn't necessarily a bad thing (nor at all uncommon for rural Iceland) but it's good to know this in advance for planning. We enjoyed the free breakfast buffet every morning and it had plenty of good options. We never had...

We stayed here as it was the closest place to sleep on our way to Jökulsárlón (travelling from Reykjavik direction). They call it a hotel but it is more like a backpacker place when it comes to standard. You have to share bath and toilet with the other rooms in the same building. They serve a fixed dinner each night...

I came just before the start of the peak season. I was given a clean room. I was informed well of where I can opt to buy dinner if I choose not to have dinner at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good. Of the three nights I was there, the sauna and...

This was one of the stops on my tour of Iceland and it was one of the worst. Not that that makes it terrible, it was just not that good really. It was just a one night stay and we decided on here as it had a sauna and hot tub and we wanted to relax after our glacier walk...This...
