Stayed there 3 nights during a photograpy-tour. Perfect location. New rooms. Very friendly staff. Breakfast, lunch and dinner have been very good. They offer mainly own products (lamb, fish) from the farm enclosed. I would come back.

Stayed here for a couple nights while hiking the glacier. It was a bit pricey for so late in the season but the staff was quite accommodating, gratis breakfast was delicious and varied...so overall a fairly good value.

Awesome country inn near Skaftafell National Park (40 min), glacial lagoons (15 min), and Hofn (40 min). Rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. Wifi worked great and free coffee available all day long in the restaurant and common areas of the various buildings. Restaurant was delicious for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (try the arctic char!). Also located in an absolutely...

Hali is wonderfully located to glacier lagoon to the west and Vesturhorn on the east. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The included breakfast gave us a hearty start to the days adventures. If you love the outdoors and want adventure - this is the region for you. This part of Iceland is very isolated and if you have...

This is a tiny hamlet, a collection of little buildings, some part of the farm, one a guesthouse, and the rest part of Hali Hotel. It's close to a number of spectacular natural wonders, including the glacial lagoon, and sits between the sea and towering cliffs. Rooms are clean, a decent size and comfortable, with high quality bedding and towels....

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked, but was so pleased when I opened the doors to our rooms and found them to be nicely appointed and very clean. We had one room with a private bath, and one room with a shared bath in a different building. Both were very nice. The restaurant - additionally - was...

This is a lovely hotel surrounded by majestic mountains. A perfect spot to visit all the tourist attractions in the Southern part of Iceland. The owners were very friendly. They gladly helped us how to get to some of the attractions. We even bought an Icelandic cross here. The rooms were very comfortable and the bathroom had all our necessary...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Hali Country Hotel. We stayed in the building closest to the water. The room was a great size, especially for Iceland standards. Bathroom was also updated and big. Still can't get past that stinky sulfur smell when you run the hot water, though! We ate at the restaurant; both got the...

Stayed for one night. Located in the middle of nowhere, just off the main road. Views of glacier and mountains to one side and the ocean on the other. Free wifi does not work in the rooms nearest the ocean, no mobile phone signal at all. Overall appearance of a small farm building with several plain looking blocks of guest...

We spent only 1 night while visiting Skaftafell and the Glacier Lagoon from our home base in Hvolsvollur. The travel time was nice as the scenery was ever changing and beautiful. They had family rooms which worked out well for us.
