Had a great trip via Fleetway. Hotel Hafnarfjodur was nice. No complaints. Great front desk staff, extremely helpful! Bus stop is a quick walk just a block down. Public transport is clean and effecient. Hotel is being updated currently. Lobby was under construction during our visit, but looks like it will be nice when completed. Draft beer and coffee in...

One of our rooms were ready when we arrived at 6:30 a.m. and the staff was nice enough to allow us to check in as soon as we got there. The rooms were well sized and had a kitchenette. The beds were comfortable and the room was sometimes too warm. The shower however was not hot enough for me. I...

Just returned from spending 5 nights at this lovely little hotel in hafnarfjdour :) despite previous reviewers complaining about the renovations it made absolutely no affect to the quality of the hotel and the staff within It. The staff literally can't do enough for you and are so friendly and chatty :) The new reception was complete and opened on...

This hotel is warm and clean with truly wonderful staff manning reception (Ilona and Solven when we were there). The breakfast is a generous buffet and the rooms have a mini kitchen so we were able to heat up some soup and noodles we brought with us to help stretch our Iceland budget :)! Because of the distant location of...

Stayed February 2017. The hotel: - I think our room was Superior Twin - with kitchenette (ie fridge, two rings, microwave, kettle, toaster, sink. Useful to book this type - we bought ourselves teabags and milk) - We found the beds, quilts and dining type chairs all very comfortable. Beds and floor didn't creak so friend/I could get up in...

We were very pleased with our twin room: it was spacious, had a TV, a sitting room with an armchair and 2 seater settee and a well appointed kitchen and it was lovely and warm. Breakfast was plentiful if not particularly varied. Staff at reception were very helpful from sorting out mobile phone connections to checking tour departure times, bus...

On arrival, my first impression was that the hotel looked very dated from the outside. The reception area had been temporarily moved to the back stairs as the lobby of the hotel was being refurbished. We checked in without any problems and given a room on the ground floor at the front of the hotel. The room was large with...

This hotel is about 20 minutes away from downtown. We stayed here because it was part of a package we booked. The rooms were nice. They all have wood floors and twin beds that can be pushed together. The entire hotel is being renovated, so there was some construction going on, but it didn't really bother us. The staff was...
