The restaurant (more of a bar) is excellent with affordable meals that are very tasty and substantial in size.
My main complaint is that WiFi was spotty in the room.
There are probably better places to stay in Vaasa but this place was a good location for what I needed and it was fine.
The hotel is more like a hostel. Everything is very worn down. The place could use a complete makeover.
It was off season....so I got 4 nights for 260 Euro which is quite "inexpensive" even for a run down hotel in Finland or just about anywhere else in Europe.
Breakfast was OK. Lunch and dinner menu had good variety.
The reception is in the same location as the restaurant/bar if that bothers anyone. Makes no difference to me.
The bed was comfortable enough but the surroundings and the clientele were a bit scuzzy.
Anyhow, if your looking for relatively cheap with a comfortable bed and don't care staying somewhere in desperate need of an overhaul, then this will probably be good enough for you.
I'll pay extra and stay somewhere else next time.....
