I needed somewhere near the ferry terminal as the boat from Sweden docks after midnight. The hotel has a 24 hour desk do it was no problem. 2 minute drive from the ferry. Staff were nice, room was good, good hot shower in a nice bathroom. Good breakfast.
Whenever I travel to the Nordic countries this is the choice that I have. Rooms are comfortable, the restaurants from the hotels(in this case Qwarken) offer great food and very good breakfast. Every issue is solved fast and in a very professional matter.
Worn down once-were-luxury hotel rooms in an otherwise okay building. The jacuzzi was dirty, a pillow was missing, the shower broken. The personnell suggested a change of rooms. The shower was broken in that one as well. Breakfast okay regarding the food. The Service was poor: took a long while for anyone to clean the tables (no one was to be found).
The Hotel had a very friendly staff. It was at a great location in the middle of the town. The room was very clean and cozy and the brakfast was really good with lots of glutenfree options. I recomend this hotel!
Stayed in the old part of the hotel in a big room with sauna and jacuzzi, which were great! The style was a bit outdated, but it was big and quiet. The beds were very good. The breakfast was excellent! Even the becon was thin and crispy, just as the butcher and the God meant it. Unfortunately there was some room for development in housekeeping. Nothing major, but dirt on halls and broken light bulbs.
