Radisson Blue never disappoints - glorious views, perfect locations and great food. UI had a delightful dinner overlooking the river. The food is as good a the view. Go for the seafood. It is located a short walk fro mall you might want ot see inTurku
I have stayed here twice over a short period of time. Both times I found enjoyable. Especially the room facing the river was nice, but apart from the view, no complaints of the other either. Breakfast to be recommended. Good location, too. There is a "welcome corner" offering bisquits, water and fruit, which is a nice touch.
Great hotel in a great location. Standard rooms are a good size and the breakfast must have something fir everyone, lots if choice and good coffee. We did not pay extra for a river view, don't know how much you can see in the summer. Good and scenic river walk at the doorstop
My husband and I traveled to Turku separately as he was touring Europe with his band and I was visiting friends and family in Helsinki, we decided to celebrate our anniversary here and the hotel surprised us with some chocolates and macarons in our room. The breakfast was perfectly Nordic and it was such a treat for me to show my husband all of my favorite Finnish breakfast foods. The hotel is also so conveniently located, a short walk from the train station and only 5 minutes from the center, it's a lovely walk along the river.
I can highly recommend this hotel for a stop over before or after the ferry to/from Turku/Stockholm. The breakfast alene lett the hotel be Worth visiting, but when you also get Securitas pakking in the hotel garage without any worries if your car full of luggage gets robbed, this is an excellent stop.
After being in Finland almost one year, traveling around all country, having amazing experiences with different hotels all around, this one, “Radisson Blue Marina” in Turku was the worst experience that I ever had: - what they call “super breakfast” it’s a disappointment; - the cleanliness of the access corridors to the rooms is disgraceful; - the front desk treated us like third class citizens; - the effort to accommodate a simple request like checking out 30 minutes later was denied without a single effort by the receptionist (she didn't even take care to disguise it by looking to the computer); - the friendliness of the reception is null on the edge of bad manners; - the customer service is non-existent!!! Last but not least: this is the first time ever that I take the trouble to right a review as a result of the bad experience we had! I strongly do not recommend this hotel… there are many other alternatives where the price we are charged meets the minimum expectations!…
There was nothing wanting in our stay here. The hotel is set right in the middle of all activity in town. The staff were efficient and super friendly and managed the checkin and checkout process smoothly. The ambience in the lounge was lively and warm. The room itself was clean, comfortable and bright. I’d stay here again.
Perfect location looking out over the river. Great view and no intrusive noise. Close to bars and restaurants. Only improvement would be to paint the bedroom walls a different colour - the brown shade made the room feel dark.
The room need some refreshing/maintenance but overall it was a very comfortable stay and the location is NOT at the town square where it is still under major construction. A quieter stay in comparison with excellent buffet breakfast
This hotel was a nice place to stay although the building was pretty old and there was a bad smell in the corridors. We stayed in the business room and it was nice and spacious. Everything was pretty clean but some chairs were dirty and also the curtains had something sticky on them. They offered shampoos, shaver, shower caps etc, which was really nice extra. Also the room had an espresso machine and the coffee was really good. I would say that for the price we paid, we were expecting more value for the price, but overall everything was ok.
