The iconic Hamburger Börs has been hosting guests in the best location since 1894 – right in the centre of Turku by the Market Square. The elegantly refurbished hotel will open its doors again in November 2021, providing unforgettable hotel experiences in a modern setting. The new, modern Hamburger Börs provides peaceful accommodation in the hotel’s new annex, where beautifully designed rooms equipped with air conditioning ensure a great night’s sleep. A versatile room selection caters for all needs. Some rooms overlook the Market Square while others face the tranquil courtyard. The spacious top-floor suites feature arched windows with window nooks that invite you to sit back and admire the city life. The new annex on the courtyard side is built in a style respecting the architectural features of the early 20th century. The reception, the airy lobby and the spacious lounge area are located here. The hotel’s versatile restaurant offering can also be found here. The restaurant, heated winter garden and outdoor terrace are on the ground level, while Sky Bar with its large rooftop terrace is located on the 9th floor. A comfortable stay is completed with the stylish relaxation suite and modern gym. The Art Nouveau wing, a protected part of the hotel built in 1885, offers a unique setting for hosting meetings, conferences, banquets and family get-togethers in facilities equipped with modern technology. The hotel is easy to reach with everything close by. Its central location right next to the Market Square near the Aurajoki River ensures good connections, and all the most popular shopping streets, restaurants, cafes and sights are nearby. The hotel has its own garage and there is also a large public garage in the immediate vicinity.

Hotels own Parking lot is exremely small off cource you have the new tori parkki option near but kind of hard to find and you are carrying you luggage. To the hotel. Reception is fast because there is lot of staff but you can see that staff is still with out experience. As they are asking questions that you normally dont get for example in other scandic Hotels. Room was clean but the Windows where in terrible condition the restaurant experience was the really really dispointing . And the reason for grade of this review. hotel that you cant even eat as you are not welcome. As a walk-in Customer . i wuold understand if you dont take outside guest without reservation but standing hotel guest cant get food in the hotel and half of the tables are empty. As business traveller i will. Avoid this place. For. 2 simple. Reasons. no easy Parking and no food available .

Solo Traveler Visiting for Three days. The Scandic Hamburger Bors was a wonderful hotel. I would stay there with my family, as a solo travel, or for a work trip. The pros and cons Pros: - Staff was friendly and accommodating at check-in. Shared all info pertaining to Sauna hours, breakfast, the rooftop bar, and were glad to offer restaurant recommentations - Breakfast - they do a true Finnish breakfast buffet. you will not go away hungry. You have the rice pies, plenty of fresh breads, pastries, eggs, sausages, fruits, It is a really good buffett and will keep you filled for the whole day. - Rooftop Bar: great view of downtown Turku, full bar, nice relaxing atmosphere. - Room: comfortable bed, after a month of traveling having this bed was a godsend. The blackout curtains made the midnight sun irrelevant. Shower had good pressure, and towels. The room slept very well and it was immaculately clean. Cons - I have to search for something wrong with the hotel. It was an excellent place, I mean the only probably I had the whole time was I couldn't find the juice one morning, and that was honetly the worst thing that happened :) so no real negatives. Info: It is about a 20 minute walk from the train station. You are about a five minute walk from the cathedral and the river. It is right on the main square which is still being put back together. Good for: families, business, solo travelers, couples

Excellent experience! Clean room, as well common space and a very friendly as professional staff. The hotel is located in the city center, so the location is brilliant. The Aura river and it's entertainments are close as well all city restaurants, museums etc.

Spent here one night in May 2022. Lovely room on 8th floor with view toward hills behind the river. Early checkin at no extra cost. Very nice common areas. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and stylish bathroom. Good breakfast with quality products. The only things I missed were salmon, more different fresh bread rolls, larger selection of cut fruits (they only had orange and watermelon slices). Also freshly squeezed orange juice should be offered in this quality of hotel. Parking was 24e a night in hotel parking garage but something went wrong and we got a fine. They sorted this out promptly (apparently the receptionist had forgotten to do something when we paid the parking at checkin).

Just recently opened hotel with a great location in the city centre (market place). We had some problems to find the main entrance, because we were used to stay in the old hotel. Quite a long queue when checking in, but it was expected in the weekend and the eve of May Day. We had a junior suite which was spacious and nice with two windows to the market place. Good bed, several pillows to choose. The only complaint is the bathroom (especially shower), which smelled damp (like old vet towel). In the newish rooms I would not expect that. Breakfast was ok, nothing specific. Staff friendly, but mostly English speaking.

The hotel was just recently opened, so everything was very nice and tidy. The rooms were fine, although the superior plus -room we stayed in, was nothing special, not even much larger than the normal rooms. There also weren't any full body mirrors in the room, or mirror for make up/shaving. Very good breakfast and friendly staff.

Not planned in the morning but a quick need in the afternoon for family reasons. We simply landed at the doorstep of Hamburger Börs and saw no reason to look further. This is where we want to spend our two following nights.

The new and partly renovated Hamburger Börs surprised us though we knew it was said to be something special. It was dazzling - to put it simply. Clean, beautiful, good beds, practical bathroom and shower and one of the best breakfasts we have ever experienced. The only complaint, a minor one, goes to service. Coffee bags in the room were not replaced daily and wine glasses were available in the room only on the first night. And the table that wee reserved in the restaurant was not available when we arrived there. Otherwise service was kind and effective.
