Modern, centrally located, good food and attentive, professional, friendly staff. We enjoyed our 3 night stay here, and if we return to visit Turku, we will certainly stay here again. Very good breakfast with a wide variety of food. The 2nd floor breakfast dining area is very large and very comfortable with a nice ambiance. The dinner restaurant is very good as well. Very nice room with very comfortable bed. Walk in shower.
Hard to find and drive to park, small mini room this Solo King, great breakfast, good location. Next time I need a bigger room, this was so small. You basically go to bathroom next to your Roommate :) Solo King was not for me. Breakfast was great, but Silja Line has better, no champange? Luxury missing
We didin't get any good customer experience. We had the twin room. Beds were together as a queen-size-bed. We asked about it, and the answer were that guests could move beds themselves. Luckily soon staff came and moved beds. The worst part were door to the shower and toilet! There were not a proper door. Your roommate could see and here everything through the door!!! Very awkward! We asked, if we could take breakfast a little bit before (breakfast starts 6.30). The answer was a rude NO. Staff did not even asked how much before we would like to attend to the breakfast (5-10minutes would have been great for us, so we would still snatch our bus.) Our other group in the bus told us, that every other hotel in Turku were really flexible when to start breakfast. These hotels were Centro, Wiklund and Scandic. You should choose these hotels instead! The most unpleasant thing were that stuff were rude. They did not were sorry about anything. We would have been little bit more happy, if the stuff would have been sorry about the issues and polite apologies would have been nice. Hotel location is good but avoid this hotel!…
Well, this was my best visit in Sokos hotels for a while. I had room with Sauna, room was very good. Cleaning between nights was excellent and room facilities were excellent. Breakfast quality was good but service, man serving mostly in downstairs has earned his wage, excellent service and how he interacts with customers. Clear #1 in Solo hotels, beats Torni in HKI clearly in terms of quality. Very good, we will see again.
The hotel has beautiful, art deco style interiors and the lobby area has nice seating areas instead of just one large open hall. The room is spacious and the beds are super comfortable. The info about possible pillows could be more easily found. Delicious and varied breakfast with good options for special diets. The one big negative about a twin room is a transparent sliding glass door - especially a twin room that is possibly shared with friends should not have a door that offers zero privacy; there are large gaps and if the lights are on (especially at night when the room is dark and the bathroom has light on) you can see, hear and smell everything that happens in the bathroom. Note to reception; ask guests if they are comfortable with that level of intimacy before assigning a room, apparently there are rooms with traditional door - only learned that when we were leaving.…
We stayed here for one night in basic room. Very stylish, extremely clean and great standard. All staff members very friendly. Breakfast was fabulous and diverse, fresh fruits, good cold cuts etc. The only thing we were missing was fresh bread rolls, they only had fresh breads, croissants, and warm Carelian pastries, all very tasty and good. In room the only suggestion for improvement as for the pandemic is please clean the TV remote controls better and place transparent, replaceable plastic foil on them. Reception staff was amazing and our dog was welcomed perfectly with a dog bed and food and water pots in room, and also some retreats in a bag at check-in. For us this is the best hotel in Turku, perfect location within short walks to everywhere. The building is old but charming and very nicely renovated. Small gym with one treadmill and one stationary bike only, and free sauna for evening and early morning. All very well maintained! …
This was my second stay in this hotel. The first time was on this spring and now I returned, because I had totally fell in love with this hotel. The interior is so neat, the rooms are quiet and comfortable and the breakfast couldn't be any better. So I give my war recommendations and surely will return again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this stylish hotel. Elegant rooms with great beds. Rather small bathrooms, but very nicely designed. The breakfast was lovely, something for every taste. The restaurant was, however, under staffed and not very welcoming. We had a drink at the bar and then dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants. Parking available close to the hotel. This hotel can really be recommended.
We stayed at Seurahuone to attend friends’ wedding. We had some complications along the way and the staff was wonderfully helpful to make it easier on us. All in all, the service was very warm and professional. The decor style was very tasteful and glam. The room was spacious and well soundproof. The breakfast was amazing and the variety blew us away.
Cozy & quality rooms renovated with good taste. Lovely atmosphere & building with long history. Nice bathrooms with rain showers. Also air conditioner worked nicely during hot summer days. We also enjoyed the breakfast we ordered in our room - quality products & various different foods.
