It is a nice location and a what supposed to do a quiet time away from city rush, BUT I have few recommendations to the management: 1. Rooms should be mopped each room with fresh water and soap. The smell of the water changes and makes the whole room smell very bad due to that. And that smell can be stuck to the room for weeks 2. As I expected this to be a quiet time to work, I find it very disrespectful for cleaners to start banging and making extremely loud noises at 6:30. Even the rauha rule in Finland is 22-7, yet not respected in this hotel. 3. I was welcomed nicely upon arrival. Yet I was allowed to my room around 16:00. That is Not acceptable when in my booking it said Check-in 14-16. 4. I was not told how to get to the beach area, and it was not clear at how from signs in hotel premisses not outside. 6. On Monday morning the restaurant table I wanted to sit on for breakfast was not wiped (there was coffee cup stain) and the table cloth had some berry spot. (That means it was not clean for days because on Sundays the restaurant is closed) 5. The second receptionist was quite unpleasant and unprofessional. First thing that customer service is taught is a pleasant smile to whom ever approaches your stand. 6. Cleaners don’t smile nor reply when told “Huomenta” or “Kiitos”. Very disrespectful service.…
We picked this hotel as it was advertised as being close to the ferry. It was....however the receptionist was not helpful when we asked about things to do and when we told her we would be leaving early no offer of a picnic breakfast was given. The hotel has a hospital or convalescent home feel. The staff was unavailable for help after a certain hour. The worst part was after we had been asleep for a bit we were startled awake by fireworks from a wedding on site. Other than the closeness to the ferry about 15 minutes there are no restaurants or activities within walking distance.
The hotel is about 25 min drive from the Turku harbour. Very easy to locate with a GPS. The room is big and clean; very comfortable bed; there are fridge, freezer and kettle located at the end of the corridor; friendly receptionists; a mini golf field; sauna (only in the evening but need to pay); a sandy beach just around the corner. The breakfast started at 08:00 until 09:30.
