Nice hotel and good location. No Playarea for kids anymore and that is shame. New but Dirty rooms, my baby tried to eat some candies under the bed, no one had done vacuuming. Also they forgot to give hand soap and other basic stuff what you need.
I stayed here as I wanted something more modern than the surrounding hotels. I like the design and the fact that you can choose for a bath or shower in your room. The hotel also has a good restaurant so the breakfast and dinner has plenty of options.
I stayed two nights at this new hotel. Hotel is obviously targeted to leisure. It was diffucult to work with lap top as the working space is very limited. The gym is quite small considering the size of the hotel. The room is average and aims for modern feel, but lacks cosiness, which I appreciate very much when spending a lot of time in hotels. Staff was nice. Be prepared for waiting in the restaurant and when checking in.
We had a room on the 24th floor. It offered a nice view - unfortunately Kaleva-church, directly in front of us,is not one of my architectual favourites. The room itself was rather spacious but without any special details. The biggest difference was perhaps the fact that shower and WC were separated. There were many mirrors, but not one of them was suitably illuminated for doing make-up. There are only three elevators, which caused some delay every time. (I think that the problem is more unpleasant, if you have a room on some midway floor.) The breakfast was rather average - luckily there was black sausage available, which gave some local feeling.
Checking is very slowly, with self checking goes better, but self service in this price is not correct. I would like to have closed bathroom and not half open as it now is. Restaurant was ok, but nothing special. Everythin except price in mid -range.
Staid one night in this Hotel. Close yo the railway station. The Hotel is modern in its style with concrete floors but the rooms are big and nice clima condition inside. The breakfast in the morning was very nice and improved the whole stay. The bacon was 7/10 on the bacon scala.
The check in and the check out went very well and the receptionists were very friendly. I didn't like that only a few customers at the hotel wear masks. The room was very large, very clean and lovely. I liked the murals a lot. The view from the windows wasn't very nice. I could see a parking lot and the gym. The other side of the hotel view would have been better. The room was super quiet, but on the first night above us was somebody that was stamping and falling down at night. The other night was very quiet you could only hear when somebody was closing their door but the noise was very quiet. Actually I have never stayed in the room that is so quiet. I think that the pillows were very good but my boyfriend coudn't sleep very well because he thought the pillows were too soft. I thought that the blanket was too warm. The breakfast was too full and not very many people wear masks. That was very scary. There could have been some restrictions on how many people can be at the breakfast at the same time. We reserved a sauna. It went very well, but a half an hour is too short time for the sauna. We are definitely coming back to this hotel. It's a little expensive but you get a lot in that money. …
The hotel is reasonably new and impressive. However, the rooms are quite ordinary and a bit rugged. The upper floors have great views. Breakfast is varied and includes some local produce. If the hotel were located on the other side of the train track, I would use it more.
Overpriced rooms, outdated interior, breakfast was super crammed and taking a lift took forever. Ingredients in breakfast were superb, beds were comby and we had a bathtub in our room which is always great. But still: a disappointed customer over here.
The homepage lacks details, such as where to park. It's rather an arrogant presumption that non-locals would know how to drive to parking which only creates confusion. Long ques at check in. The lobby seems dark and dated. The design looks like a relic from the nineties, odd and out of place. The room is dusty, has dirty linen (housekeeping changed it so ok), all four glasses had stains and lipstick on them, the shower tap was full of white residue. The bathroom toiletries was strongly scented and sparse. For the price of the room I expect a little bit more than conditioner, body lotion, bath salts and bubble bath. The hairdryer and bath tub were ok. The room design was out of place, looked confused, dated, uninteresting and weird. The pillows (three per bed) were all over used and should be changed. The restaurant was a disaster; unfriendly and slow staff, food clearly mostly from the freezer and the cooking style is paired with the design, old and outdated. Not many COVID-19 restrictions in place. Way over prized for the quality of service and food. The breakfast was even worse than the dinner; at check in you had to confirm the time you would go for breakfast, this leads to the assumption that pandemic restrictions has been considered. There were close to 300 people at breakfast, many with no place to sit, hovering around the room with no masks, hand sanitizer supplies empty and buffet service with no COVID-19 hygiene plan at all. Quality of the breakfast food and drink was also poor and it was simply not an interesting food wise or relaxing as a start to the day. Easy on check out. I will not stay here again and not recommend it to anyone else (for no purpose). To put it mildly; this is overprized accommodation that is poorly managed, with lack of vision and pride in their trade. Avoid at all cost!!…
