All 178 rooms are stylishly decorated with smart taste. Cumulus Hämeenpuisto Tampere offers reasonable accommodation in cosy atmosphere close to many services such as shopping centers, Särkänniemi amusement park and the theatres. Grillsson Steakhouse & Bar serves top-notch steaks and perfectly tender meat courses. The restaurant gives you the feeling of atmospheric living room where you may perhaps spend quality time enjoying high-class dishes and beverages. Tasty breakfast brightened with special delicasy such as blood sausage is served in the restaurant every morning. GoGo Fitness Centre is conveniently adjacent the hotel. Using the services of the fitness centre on the ground floor is affordable when you buy the ticket from the hotel reception. Our relaxing saunas are located on the 7th floor and our customers are free to enjoy the steam during evenings. We also provide complimentary WiFi.

Clean and modern basic level hotel. Moderate quiet location, yet close to city attractions. This was a theater trip, Tampereen Työväen Teatteri is almost cross the street. Nice to have a walk in Pispala / Pyynikki. Easy parking.

We had two double rooms with extra bed. Rooms were modern style and clean. Rooms facing Hämeenpuisto on the 5th floor were surprisingly quiet. Sofa bed was ok for smaller kids. TV was large and minibar hidden in the closet. I didn't notice a safe box.
Bathroom was spacious but had glass window in the upper wall. This means that all bathroom lights will light also the sleeping area and mirror was cut on my eye level. Not a big problem but not so functional. Also shower was surrounded by plastic curtain, not a glass wall that you might expect. Sink was spacious offering enough room to lay toiletries.
Breakfast room was very small and tight. Fortunately there was not much people but still there was quite a queue frequently. Food was standard quality.
Check-in and out was quick and easy, and staff friendly. Parking was 15 eur per day in the spacious garage Hämeenpuisto. Location is bit off the hustle and convenient by car. Walking to different directions is easy.

A one night stay in Tampere made enjoyable by a surprisingly quiet room in Scandic Hämeenpuisto.
The room was on the 6th floor facing to the east, so no street noise was heard at all. Breakfast was good, a standard Scandic level with plenty to choose from.

Scandic Hämeenpuisto was ok for a one night stay in Tampere. It is located little on the side, but the centre on reachable by foot. The hotel was fully booked, so check in took long time, but otherwise everything was taken care fine. The hotel is very peaceful during the night and the rooms were clean. I would change the soaps to Finnish brands though, as we are in Finland. The breakfast was excellent, and I truly can recommend that. It would be a good idea to market a weekend stay (Fri-Sun) at the hotel for affordable price; it would bring more people on the average weekends to the hotels. Usually the stay in the hotel is quite short considering the price of a room, which feels too high for one night (150€).

Probably not the best Scandic in the city but to be fair they are all pretty much the same nowadays. This one doesn't offer free parking but there is a parking garage just next to it (with extra cost). The room itself was nice and clean, but for some reason there was a small window between the room and the bathroom - in daytime it gives a bit of sunlight to the bathroom, which is nice, but at night it can be a bit irritating if someone goes to the bathroom as the bathroom lights illuminate the whole room!
Saunas offer a nice view over the city. In July at least one of the conference rooms was adjusted into a playroom which was great for kids! Pyynikki and the city centre are very close by.
Breakfast was average. I would like to see a bigger selection of fruits, better quality juices and some kind of fish...

The hotel had a modern, inviting style with a nice room and sizeable bathroom, comfortable bed and a sofa. The breakfast held a good a variety of warm dishes and cold cuts which was displayed delicately. The location was quite central with only a small stroll towards the main streets. If one arrives by car, there are accessible parking in a parking house around the corner of the hotel. The way from the parking house towards the reception was poorly explained, which could lead to confusion.

Good location within easy reach to the city centre and attractions. Parking facilities are good and the parking can easily be paid just before exit or at the hotel reception, which we found easier. Basic Scandic breakfast, nothing missing but noting to wow you either, however better than in some other hotel brands. The oat porridge was perfect.
Trusty place to visit, seems not to disappoint in what it offers.

Covers basic needs, roof over your head and pillow under your head. Room was nicely decorated, but felt and smelt untidy, smell or stink of old perspiration. Pillows needs to be changed to new ones. I usually like Scandic hotels, because I can trust that they reach certain standards but only two times I have been disappointed, both in Tampere.

Nice, clean hotel, friendly staff. But! I am used to that in hotels you have superbig, great beds, because sleeping is the best thing to do in hotels. We booked upper-standardroom, because for some reason I got the idea that upper means also bigger beds... My mistake, It says on the information that beds are 90cm, but I cant believe that it was even so. Every time I turned, I almost fell out of bed. Not good night sleep. Luckily we were only 1 night, but next time I will doublecheck bedsizes before booking. So I recommend this hotel, if you are very thin person, then it will be nice.

Ive been in 3 different Scandic hotels within a week and you can really feel the difference. This one is really good and you get the best Scandic experience, the other two “did the job” but I would recommend this one any time to anyone.
Really nice interior design and great service. If anything then a bit tricky parking for the coach.
