I stayed here for one night. The hotel is small and comfortable, decorated in Rauma's maritime style. The service was friendly and attentive. I asked for a room in a quiet location, which was fine. At night, there was a long line in the street to the nightclub, and then there is definitely noise. My room was standard which is comfortable for one person. The bed is maybe a bit narrow for two. The tile seams in the shower needed bleaching, otherwise everything was clean. The breakfast was good and varied, it was served in a restaurant decorated in a maritime style. There was a small terrace in the courtyard where you can enjoy drinks from the bar. I would come again to this nice little hotel.

In Rauma for a family gathering, and this was a decent enough choice for a bed for the night. Location was ideal, and free, easy street parking was welcome. Quiet, comfortable room with what seemed like a recently refurbished bathroom (bonus points for the magnifying mirror, though the bathroom lighting could have been better). Good strong shower.
Some have complained the rooms are "dark", but personally I thought the décor was fine, and the wood floor was welcome. Everywhere was clean. Minibar, and tea/coffee-making equipment. Nice bedside lighting (good reading lamps on stalks). Window could be opened, and room had A/C. A good night's sleep. What's not to like?
Restaurant was closed on a Sunday evening, though this was not really relevant to us. Buffet-style breakfast perfectly adequate, in pleasant surroundings, with fresh fruit included, although a shade limited in that department. Pears would be nice. Fruit juice somewhat artificial, but then again it so often is in hotels.
Staff throughout friendly and efficient. All in all, Kalliohovi provides a safe pair of hands for a short stay. Many thanks.

Reception Service excellent, Room price incl. balcony, otherwise normal hotel room.? The Menu for dinner in restaurant Raumanhovi/Kapteeninhuone was not wide enough, but Service was excellent. Breakfast good. Some Fresh fruits would make it close excellent.

Kalliohovi locates in quiet area. Hotel is clean and staff is nice in relaxed way. Sunday evening the restaurant was closed at 9.30 pm and hotel had no food or snack service except the snacks in minibar. Lobby bar was open.
Hotel has a strong but outdated marines style. Dark colors and lack of the daylight makes the restaurant/ breakfast room a bit overpowering. Especially in the morning I really missed the daylight.

An overnight stay of 3 adults. 3rd bed made into a narrow hard armchair fit for a small child. Feet hanging outside. Breakfast advertised abundant but very limited on a July Sunday morning. Room facing the Maritime museum. About 50 drunken bar goers kept us awake most of the night shouting in front of the hotel and under our room. A bar is located in the same property next door and when the bar closes the drunken people flock the front of the hotel. No other building in the vicinity of the hotel except the museum on the hill so an absolute shock to experience this.

No bigger complaints, overall everything was fine. Our room was on the second floor and the day we arrived the elevator was under maintenance- no big issue as stairs were nearby. Some strange smell was in the room, not sure what it was, we opened the windows, but it stayed. Breakfast was fine and customer service good. Next time when accomodation needed in Rauma I would probably use the place again.

This is a good hotel for a short time visit. You can't go wrong with it as its location is pretty good, the surroundings are quite, clean rooms and the staff is friendly. We really liked the breakfast too. Complimentary q tips and cotton balls in the bathroom would have been appreciated but it's not a big deal we were happy with out visit anyway!

Good service with nice voucher idea. Lighting in rooms a bit low. Very good restaurant, closing a bit early in the evening. Very good breakfast. Rooms to the street are sometimes a bit noisy in the night due to people leaving night club.

Stayed here for business. Rooms are big, bed is comfortable.
Restaurant was good, breakfast buffet had a great selection and food was very tasty. Also ate dinner at the restaurant one night and the whitefish was excellent!!
Also a great location, could walk to Old Rauma in about ten minutes.

Breakfast buffet was great but never changed. Dinner was impeccable and gluten friendly. Didn't find better in Rauma after 14 days of trying. Rooms were nice and beds comfortable. Very nice Sauna. A little late night/early morning noise from attached bar that's open until 4am some days. It wasn't that bad and it's good to see the young ones out socializing and having fun.
