The breakfast was good and varied, it was served in a restaurant decorated in a maritime style. There was a small terrace in the courtyard where you can enjoy drinks from the bar. I would come again to this nice little hotel.
Some have complained the rooms are "dark", but personally I thought the décor was fine, and the wood floor was welcome. Everywhere was clean. Minibar, and tea/coffee-making equipment. Nice bedside lighting (good reading lamps on stalks). Window could be opened, and room had A/C. A good night's sleep. What's not to like?
Restaurant was closed on a Sunday evening, though this was not really relevant to us. Buffet-style breakfast perfectly adequate, in pleasant surroundings, with fresh fruit included, although a shade limited in that department. Pears would be nice. Fruit juice somewhat artificial, but then again it so often is in hotels.
Staff throughout friendly and efficient. All in all, Kalliohovi provides a safe pair of hands for a short stay. Many thanks.
The Menu for dinner in restaurant Raumanhovi/Kapteeninhuone was not wide enough, but Service was excellent. Breakfast good.
Some Fresh fruits would make it close excellent.

Hotel has a strong but outdated marines style. Dark colors and lack of the daylight makes the restaurant/ breakfast room a bit overpowering. Especially in the morning I really missed the daylight.
Restaurant was good, breakfast buffet had a great selection and food was very tasty. Also ate dinner at the restaurant one night and the whitefish was excellent!!
Also a great location, could walk to Old Rauma in about ten minutes.
