An apart hotel right in the Heart of Pori, by the market place, close to many bars and restaurants. The rooms are located high up so there was very little noice from traffic. The room was big but rather dull. But it was well worth the price as we didn't need anything but accomodation. They don't serve breakfast (which they inform properly) but there are many places around. You need to catch the key from an office a few blocks away but this was No problem.
We stayed in the suite for three people . Apartment was big , split into two rooms with a bathroom and a sauna. Shared kitchen area was clean and well equipped . A little hidden gem in that from the outside you would never guess how clean and well resourced rooms are .
Room was clean, big and well equipped. We had a fridge and microwave in our room. Bed was comfy. Toilet was big. Hotel reception isn't at the same place as the hotel rooms are and you must walk around the block to get your keys. Hotel is cheap and location is perfect.
I stayed here for almost a month on a company assignment. It was like a home away from home! POSITIVES: - Well sized rooms. Can easily fit 2 adults - Microwave Owen in the room - Good lighting in the room - The kitchen and washing machine + dryer were easily accessible and were on the same floor itself. There was a lot of variety of vessels and knives in the kitchen. Really helpful especially if you are planning on staying for long. - The manager Tina was very helpful. She was ready to accommodate the many changes I had requested - Excellent location. The Kauppatori or central market bus station was bang opposite the hotel. Great to travel around. There were also many restaurants within 3 min walking distance. 2 Indian/ Nepalese restaurants were within a minutes walking distance. The Italian restaurant Rosso Pori was right next to it. Also the K supermarket was within 5 min walking distance. NEGATIVES: - The housekeeping was not done daily. Rather it was thrice a week. - Only 1 English news channel (France 24) and 3 English entertainment/ sports channels. Rest all were Finnish. - The in room fridge was not working correctly for quite some time. - No printer in the hotel. There is no reception in the hotel building. It is 2 min walking distance away on a parallel street. A bit of an inconvenience but not really since Tina is generally a phone call away Also, there is no free breakfast and no restaurant within the hotel. This is not a problem since the hotel provides a kitchen where you can cook your own meals! Overall, I had a great stay. The real rating should be 4.5 out of 5 but TripAdvisor does not allow half points. I'd definitely recommend the hotel for a long stay and would definitely be back when I visit Pori. Cheers! …
This hotel is has the vibe of being a condo or something because you go and pick up the key at a different location to get in and there's no staff here at the location. There are refrigerators and microwaves in the room which makes it a little more practical for long-term stay. It overlooks the Town Square which is kind of interesting interview we stayed here on the 7th floor.
