An average quality. Clean rooms and a very friendly female receptionist! The breakfast offered all we needed from oatmeal to fresh pineapple. Great walking distance everywhere. The biggest minus was light room without proper blinders.
Apart from the central location, an awful hotel. Smelly, stuffy corridor and rooms. One wall in our room looked like it had been vomited on and not cleaned. Unprofessional staff, even coughing around during covid-19. Everything is old, broken, out of style.
Best service in town. Great breakfast is included and you can have lunch and dinner also. We had a balcony in the room and a bath with shower. My children love this old hotel, where is so many interesting secret places to explore and hide :)
Seurahuone is an old and oldfashined hotel in the center of Kokkola. It has a spacy parking, quiet rooms, comfty beds and friendly staff. There is some construction going on. Breakfast is average, has plenty of choices.
Central location in Kokkola. One of the oldest hotels in town. Under restauration at the moment. Quit rooms, well isolated,so a bot warm. Bar,restaurant and disco in the same builing as is of the case in Finland. Noisy during the weekend. Food in restaurant is average.
Old-fashioned atmosphere and facilities, a little threadbare rooms with quite nice bathrooms. Main entrance side room was quite noisy due to traffic on the street but I was lucky to get upgraded to quiet top floor room with sunset view (I guess those rooms will be unbearable warm in the summer as there seemed not to be any air conditioning). A little unambitious breakfast for present time guests.
Overall a really comfortable hotel with central location. Staff was very nice and helpful, public areas were ok, although I used only the breakfast Room in the morning. 5th floor room was very nice and comfortable and clean. TV was outdated, maybe time to change to a flatscreen? This did not borher me as I did not watch it. Bathroom spotless and bright... but perhaps the shower needs a door as water splashes everywhere in the bathroom. The lift was small and old, and the corridors were a bit un-hotel like...I enjoyed the overnight.
Simple hotel with bar, restaurant, karaoke and night lub.rooms are sufficient isolated. Rooms are warm with littleventilation. Location is in the town center Weekends are verybusy with paty goers. One of the oldest hotels in the region, but recently freshly renovated
Please avoid this Hotel. It is not renovated as they say in the web site. Or if it is renovated it must have happened at least 30 years ago. I booked suite with sauna and balcony. I off course thought that there would have been a working tv also. Boy was I wrong... I complained for the TV and got 20 eur reduction to price. Staff was friendly.
We stayed one night here because of flights from Helsinki to access Vaasa ... Friendly staff and lots of activities for the middle of the week (Karaoke, Dancing and people watching). Rooms have saunas and were pretty insulated from activities in the bar and restaurant areas. Great breakfast buffet that was included.
