This hotel is in a good district of Helsinki, within walking distance to many attractions and with good public transit links. The rooms are spacious and come with a safe, kettle with tea and coffee, and an iron. The toiletries are of a very good brand and generously supplied. The breakfast is great -- have the traditional karelian pie with some egg butter, or some scrambled eggs with meatballs, traditional porridge, or some of a wide array of fresh fruit, veggies, and yogurts. The bar area is cozy and serves until late. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The windows seem like they cannot be opened, but you can open them if you ask for a key from reception. A great base to explore Helsinki.

Breakfast good, position good but for sleeping I would not recommend for someone who is disturbed by light and noise. Some noise from the street and also from the corridor. But worst were the blackout curtains. Dirty and too small, there was light coming from the sides, between and bottom so could not sleep after sunrise.

We spent two nights here on our trip to Finland and it was very nice. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is close to the city centre so everything is in easy walking distance but it's far enough to be calm and on a quiet street. The only downside to staying here is that the bathrooms are a bit in need of an update and the showers are quite small. The breakfast was excellent, we had two vegans and one vegetarian in our group and there was a vegan version of everything available, they even cooked us vegan meatballs and vegan blueberry muffins! The staff were friendly and helpful and the place had a nice atmosphere.

Albert is situated by a silent street, just a few blocks from the city centre. Service at the reception desk was excellent. The room was very small, and majority of the area was taken by the 180 cm bed. However, it was a bit difficult to find space for the luggege. Breakfast was very good.

No dinner, only couple wines to choose, toilet not clean, tv was just like postmark. Only breakfast good. Place in Helsinki ok. Cheap but I would say only 2 star hotel. Been in better places. Too old and .....

January is very quiet month in the restaurant and therefor we have decided to keep the doors closed. Anyhow our reception is more than glad to help you choosing the restaurant, when our own restaurant is not available. Gladly I can tell that we open the restaurant tonight again. I am sorry that the toilet was not cleaned properly. In case there are problems in the room, we are more than happy to fix them as soon as we are informed. Hotel is old and needs some update, but the staff was very friendly and professional. The a la carte was excellent, I do recommed the restaurant. Our room was on 6 th floor and it was quite small, but space enough. It was quiet and I slept very well.

The hotel has a good location and is clean. On arrival two people were standing behind the reception, and they seemed annoied that we arrived late. Eventough we had confirmed it was ok when we booked our stay. I think the beds were too soft. I would also have liked if it was a double bed instead of two single beds. Breakfast was ok. All togheter a good stay, but they should greet their guests nicer at arrival.

Have stayed at the hotel a couple of times which is located a nice 10-15 min walk from the train station. The calm area, comfortable beds and working space in the room (desks) are things that I value.

It's as if time has stopped, and you find yourself in the 80's in a jazz ambiance. Good helpful staff, clean rooms with recycling bins! some mini bar items would be great. Walking distance to city center.

Being within walkable distance from the station,the Albert seems popular(considering the occupancy) But i guess its more of a business hotel than a holiday destination. The rooms are alrighty and spacious..ours faced the street across the hotel. Breakfast buffet is well stocked,but nothing new or fancy(was actually a bit boring,no idea why-felt like same ol same ol!!) I liked the part where the Exec chef cleared tables as he noticed the restaurant needed a hand! That,i liked! Team work! Although,i didnt like the fact that on our second day,i made an order and it was forgotten soon as i made it,since the breakfast cook wasnt busy,but he actually made the order of the guest who placed his after mine 😆😆😆! Upon me coming back after 6mins(he had asked me to come back in 3mins),he had cleaned all his wares,and enjoying a glass of juice! 😂🤣😂🤣😂 Oh well,taught me a lesson-"wait for your eggs at the eggs station!!!" And i noticed,in the 3nights we spent,our room was cleaned once-on our first morning there! After that,just changed towels and made the bed...the rest,nothing touched! And its the first hotel i visited that doesnt mind gunk(residue) in the toilet?? I mean,stain remover is unheard of?? And there was no follow up on an issue we reported the very evening we checked in...receptionist only realised nothing had been done as we were checking out-and gave us "complimentary) perregrino 😋 Its a hotel that can actually do and be so much more...but somehow,it isnt..sadly!!…

Hello! Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry for the harms you faced during your stay in Albert. I will forward the feedback to housekeeping and kitchen. This helps us to improve our service. We are part of Green Key program and want to reduce energy usage. Everyday cleaning includes changing the trash and towels. Sheets are changed every third day. In case the "do not disturb" button is on while the cleaning is on, the housekeeping won´t enter the room. Have a great day!
