This Hotel, a converted Conference Centre, is situated near the Coast on the Ramsinranta Peninsular. This is about 10km to the East of Helsinki and really does benefit having access to a car, as it is quite remote. It is approached off the Meri-Rastian tie, off the Rattisilta Vuitie, then the Ramsinniementie before finally reaching Furuborginkatu on which the Hotel is located. Driving through this estate the existence of this Hotel at the end seems improbable.
There is a large car park nearby, but guests can drop-off at the entrance which is a couple of minutes’ walk away.
The building is modern, but spaciously laid out. The Rooms vary in size and are clean and fairly well equipped. It is in nice grounds too.
The Restaurant serves Breakfast and Evening Meals (until 10pm.) The Menu is limited, but it is well cooked and presented.
The staff are very friendly. Highly recommended for a quiet get away far the the bustle of the City Centre, yet a reasonably close commute too (about 30 Minutes depending on the traffic.)

Hotel Rantapuisto os located in the beautiful nature of Finland. The architecture is spectacular and the hotel offered sauna, gym and breakfast.
We booked the Nolla Cabin, which also included a hotelroom at the Hotel.
The prime guest seaview room had a Merimekko theme- and that (apart from the stunning architecture and breakfast) was the only plus with the hotel. Its so unfortuned that this beautiful hotel is such in a bad condition. A proper facelift (outside and inside) would give justice to this beautiful funkkis-style hotel which screams Finninsh architecture and design. The Breakfast was really nice and the staff helpful and nice as well.
Our room had a seaview which was beautiful, if you would look a bit down at the reck of the balcony you could see mold and fungus growing on the reck. Our primeroom was in desperate need of a facelift, especially the bathroom. The carpetfloor in the corridor smelled and had old stains on it. The hotel is animalfriendly, which means you can have pets with you. On our way to the restaurant we saw some dog poo in the corridor =//
The location offers a viarity of options to experience finnish nature! Close by is also shoppingmall Itäkeskus one of Helsinkis largest mall.

Unbelievable location along the beach in the middle of the forest and only at 30’ from Helsinki. The sea view room are huge and fantastic. Breakfast is reach. You can borrow bicycles to reach the close paddling center and vuoasaari city. Staff is very welcoming. Superior rooms have sauna included.

Had a really nice staycation at Rantapuisto with a gorgeous winter wonderland view! The hotel is perfect for anyone who likes the 70s and Finnish design. We took a package deal that included a sea view room, breakfast and a evening blini buffet. The deal was really affordable. The staff was helpful and nice and the food good and the breakfast perfect. The surrounding area is beautiful and perfect for walks. Quite far from the center of Helsinki, but easy access with the metro.

I arrived 08.30pm Sunday evening in hotel Rantapuisto. My plan was to have some dinner, few drinks and then get to sleep. The reception told me that on Sundays restaurant is not open at all. It was also "too late" to buy beer from the reception. Finally, my last hope was a minibar in the room - there was not a one!!! Finally I took a taxi to the nearest (4 km) restaurant. So, if you wanna stay in this hotel, better to bring your own food and drinks...

Very clean, comfortable and spacious hotel. Amazing breakfast. I especially loved the yogurts, berries, compotes and homemade breads. Very nice to be outside of the city center and enjoy such lovely nature scenes, with huge hares hopping around outside at night, swans and their ducklings swimming in the sea, explore the walking trails in the forest, and waking up to beautiful sunrises over the Baltic.

Excellent place and wonderful sea view from our room. Interesting architecture and decor (Ypyä, Aarnio, Aalto, Marimekko), A place where you can relax and enjoy the seaside and nature. For us this hotel was a wonderful discovery. We had a feeling we were on someone's summer residence.

We stayed in one the apartments. Location is nice (quiet, by the sea). Rooms were almost clean (potato chips under the sofa and something smelled funny in the kitchen) but lot's of room and comfortable beds. Breakfast was really good!

Stayed here for three very hot days toattend a nearby wedding. Excellent choice, comfortable rooms with aircon, great breakfast. Close to the beach which was perfect and lovely local walks. Thank you for your interest in Helsinki, Finland and BEST WESTERN Hotel Rantapuisto. Helsinki is within easy reach from major European cities such as London, Paris, Berlin with several direct flights on a daily basis. For instance from London Heathrow and Gatwick there are 8 daily flights with Finnair, BA and Norwegian. Our hotel is located 20 minutes taxi ride from the airport on a peaceful and beautiful sea shore. Hope to see you here one day!
