The hotel was good for the price paid. The location was perfect, since it was very close to Helsinki railway station. The room was clean and the staff healpful, but I would have liked some recommendations from the staff of places to see and so on. The only problem for me was the shower, since the bathroom was rather small and there was no separation between the toilet and the shower itself. So, every time I showered I made the entire bathroom wet. Overall, I'd recommend the place!

Dear Marionasero! Thank you for staying with us and writing this review. Glad to see you liked our staff and our location. We work very hard to help our travellers to plan their days in Helsinki and to share our local tips, whenever the help is asked. I would love to hear if you didn't get the help you asked from the reception! I am sorry about the inconvenience the shower caused. Having shower divided from the rest of the bathroom with only a shower curtain is quite typical in Finland, so at least you experienced showering the Finnish way! :) After the shower it is easy to dry the floor with shower squeegees you can find in all of our rooms. Thanks again for writing such an informative review, we would love to see you again at Hotel Finn! Kind regards Paula Hotel Finn

This hotel is situated near many tourist attractions such as museums and galleries with a walking distance to the harbour - and train station. No breakfast, but many coffehouses near by. Be aware: The hotel is in the middle of a bardistrict where many youngsters have quite a party in weekends - but the hotelwindows are isolated so it did not bother to fairly grown ups! We are very happy to stay in Hotelli Finn!

this hotel is great for a short stay due to the location of it being so central and literally a 2 minute walk to the central train station. The checking in was simple and straight forward enough, there are umbrellas in reception you can take for a day as long as they are brought back! there is free tea & coffee also in reception however you have to make the teabags yourself?! it was VERY strange and not straight forward so most days we just gave up on that. The beds were comfortable however there was only ONE pillow each and not very plump, the shower room was TINY and when you showered the toilet got soaked, the floor was heated but it was TOO hot, so much so that I had to wear slippers or walk on my tip toes most of the time. There was no obvious temperature control anywhere.

Dear CupcakeChan! Thanks for taking the time to write this review and for staying with us! I apologize for inconveniences during your stay. Yes, we have premium self made tea at the reception that you place in the bag yourself, but by asking the reception we also can provide normal tea bags for you! :) Same goes with pillows, we are happy to provide more of them. The lack of toiletries is a big mistake by our housekeeping and I have forwarded it to the housekeeping department to make sure it doesn't happen again. I deeply apologize for that. Super glad to see you found the location and the umbrellas handy and I hope you enjoyed your time in Helsinki! :) Thanks again! Best regards Paula Hotelli Finn

The location of the hotel is very good and it exceeded my expectations for a 2 star hotel. Self check in service is great for late arrivals Breakfast was not included in the room rate, but you can get a very good breakfast at a discount price right across the street. Rooms and bathrooms are very very clean and everything is right at hand. If you are looking for a budget hotel for a couple of nights in Helsiki, then this is one of the best choices for you!

Very central and the price was good. They have made a awkward and old building into a pretty cool hotel. It is cheap and cheerful and the staff were polite. There was complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby

This is a perfect location. Walking distance from station.surrounded by bars cafes. Special deal with cafe opposite which was fantastic. I am a light sleeper but had no problem Two doors worked. Bed was very comfortable. All very clean, staff very helpful. All in all great value for the city centre If u want free toileties then pay more and find an expensive hotel. This was the second to last stop on a six week trip across Vietnam china Russia. In my opinion this hotel is good value for money. They even have lockers for luggage after u have checked out to use.until your train boat or plane leaves.

Hotel Finn is conveniently located within 10mins walk from the main station. Some tram lines too nearby. Easily walkable. Small lift is available to get to the 6th floor Good value over money, considering Helsinki is one of the most expensive cities on planet Earth.

Experience at Hotel Finn was OK for one night, but it did feel like a bit overpriced for a budget hotel feel. Location is very convenient. Restaurants, bars, station nearby. The room was clean and floor was non-carpet type so good for allergics probably. Wifi worked fine. We avoided hearing any bigger noise during the night, but for a light sleeper you will 100% hear quite loudly every time someone opens and closes their door or walks through at night. The beds were pretty normal slightly sinking Finnish ones, maybe not quite the same quality as the bigger chain hotels in the central Helsinki area, but OK. The room came with some basics; a small shampoo bottle, soap bottle and a soap bar ready. Also an electric water boiler, but as far as I could tell nothing to use it with

Hi Jekkukyy and thanks for your review! First of all let me apologize the items found in the night drawer - that has been a cleaning mistake that should have not happened. I'll definitely take your feedback further to avoid this ever happening again. Glad to read it did not ruin much for you, but once again I do apologize! I'm happy that you found our location and cleanliness good. There are double doors in our rooms and keeping them both shut helps with any noise disturbances. Hotel industry is a one where price changes do occur depending on season, weekday, and events happening in the city. We are always on the budget-side of the Helsinki's hotel range. Even if the city is filled with events and the prices are bit higher than on a low season, we still go lower in our rates than big hotel chains in the area. This constantly changing rate on hotel industry makes it quite hard to compare hotels to each other without taking a look on the spesific night/nights. Hope you still found value for the deal you had! Thank you again for writing us a review, have a happy spring!
