I loved this little hotel! The room was immaculate and modern with very comfortable beds. The bathroom has a heated floor! It was very quiet, safe and secure. The rooms are on the 5th and 6th floor with good lighting and a large window. There is a fast elevator too. The front desk was always friendly and helpful. You are just a short walk from the train station and a few blocks from the esplanade and city attractions. There is a large grocery store by the train station and many nice and reasonable restaurants nearby. The hotel has good coffee all day long. There is an electric kettle in the room. There is a good deli across the street for breakfast or you can picnic in the room. WiFi works great and it has a nice, big flat screen TV. Check-out is noon and there are

The Hotel is perfect to base yourself in wonderful Helsinki. Everything very clean and the bed comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. My room was very small, however I was travelling solo (with hand luggage only) so didn't matter, would have been very cramped for 2, I would however stay here again in a heartbeat.

Helsinki is an amazing city and having a good base of operations in a city like this is essential. Hotel Finn is right in the centre is very affordable and follows traditional Nordic minimalist style. Clean with friendly staff and quiet despite the central location. Would have had 5 stars apart from the lack of on site breakfast and air con in the rooms but amazing value for money

The best part about this hotel is location (which you will see in other reviews too). However this is where it ends if you are looking for other facilities in a hotel (e.g. breakfast, lobby to chill out, views etc.). The rooms are clean (though look a bit outdated with scratches on walls etc.) and a decent bathroom. We stayed here for just a night. The staff at reception were quite helpful. I would recommend staying here if you want to spend most of the time outdoors and come back to sleep at night (nothing more).

This is a small but very nice hotel. The location is superior for not so much money. No breakfast or restaurant, but there are plenty of cafes and eateries around. The toilet is narrow... if you are tall, using the toilet is kind of hilarious. The street noise can be a bit much at night as well as the smokers at the bars downstairs :-(

Dear Shawn_wellington, Thanks for staying with us and for leaving us a review! Great to hear that the location in the city center was good for you and your overall experience was great. The toilet sizes vary on room type, and for more spacious bathroom we recommend booking our Superior Twin-room. We are located just in the city, and there are cafes and bars in our surroundings. We are always trying to work with our neighbor restaurants to make sure they keep the noise to the minimum, but I want to apologize if this failed during your stay. If you decide to come back, just ask a room to the inner yard and we'll be sure to accommodate your wish. :) Thanks again, hope you had a great time in Helsinki - have a great Summer! Kind regards Paula Hotel Finn

My husband and I stayed here in May 2019 over the weekend he was running the Helsinki marathon. The hotel is very easy to find from the train station, just a few minutes walk. We arrived around midnight and were a bit concerned as we approached the hotel and realised it is in a busy street filled with bars and there was a lot of people around. However, we were lucky to find we had been given a room facing the back of the building and we honestly did not hear a sound so if you are worried about the noise, request a room there. When you walk through the corridors, it definitely feels a bit more like a hostel than a hotel but we were pleasantly surprised by the room. The room was a decent size for 2 people, beds were fairly comfy and the shower was great! The hotel is very

Dear Natalie B, Warm thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to leave us a review! I'm happy you found our central location near the train station and all the main sights to be suitable for your trip - we too think we are located in the best spot of Helsinki! :) I apologize that the cleaner cupboard caused you any noise at all. With this feedback in mind we will try and find ways to make the cleaning start in the morning even quieter. Super that the room was suitable and comfy for you other than that! Hope you had a fun marathon weekend all in all, hope to see you again at Hotel Finn! Have a great Summer! Kind regards Paula Hotel Finn

The hotel was good for the price paid. The location was perfect, since it was very close to Helsinki railway station. The room was clean and the staff healpful, but I would have liked some recommendations from the staff of places to see and so on. The only problem for me was the shower, since the bathroom was rather small and there was no separation between the toilet and the shower itself. So, every time I showered I made the entire bathroom wet. Overall, I'd recommend the place!

Dear Marionasero! Thank you for staying with us and writing this review. Glad to see you liked our staff and our location. We work very hard to help our travellers to plan their days in Helsinki and to share our local tips, whenever the help is asked. I would love to hear if you didn't get the help you asked from the reception! I am sorry about the inconvenience the shower caused. Having shower divided from the rest of the bathroom with only a shower curtain is quite typical in Finland, so at least you experienced showering the Finnish way! :) After the shower it is easy to dry the floor with shower squeegees you can find in all of our rooms. Thanks again for writing such an informative review, we would love to see you again at Hotel Finn! Kind regards Paula Hotel Finn

This hotel is situated near many tourist attractions such as museums and galleries with a walking distance to the harbour - and train station. No breakfast, but many coffehouses near by. Be aware: The hotel is in the middle of a bardistrict where many youngsters have quite a party in weekends - but the hotelwindows are isolated so it did not bother to fairly grown ups! We are very happy to stay in Hotelli Finn!

this hotel is great for a short stay due to the location of it being so central and literally a 2 minute walk to the central train station. The checking in was simple and straight forward enough, there are umbrellas in reception you can take for a day as long as they are brought back! there is free tea & coffee also in reception however you have to make the teabags yourself?! it was VERY strange and not straight forward so most days we just gave up on that. The beds were comfortable however there was only ONE pillow each and not very plump, the shower room was TINY and when you showered the toilet got soaked, the floor was heated but it was TOO hot, so much so that I had to wear slippers or walk on my tip toes most of the time. There was no obvious temperature control anywhere.

Dear CupcakeChan! Thanks for taking the time to write this review and for staying with us! I apologize for inconveniences during your stay. Yes, we have premium self made tea at the reception that you place in the bag yourself, but by asking the reception we also can provide normal tea bags for you! :) Same goes with pillows, we are happy to provide more of them. The lack of toiletries is a big mistake by our housekeeping and I have forwarded it to the housekeeping department to make sure it doesn't happen again. I deeply apologize for that. Super glad to see you found the location and the umbrellas handy and I hope you enjoyed your time in Helsinki! :) Thanks again! Best regards Paula Hotelli Finn
