The hostel is in a great location, only a few minutes walk from the central station. To find it is a little bit difficult, and you have to walk up a big flight of stairs. Check-in was simple and quick. The 4 person room was ok. It was quite spacious with a sink. However, there was essentially no storage areas.... More

I spend four nights in Helsinki and I'm glad I chose this amazing hostel. First day - reception time, they welcomed me with a beautiful blonde lady asking me a lot of details, where I was flying from, etc.. (making the whole booking serious). Then I came to know there was another friendly girl from the staff which I asked... More

Stayed here for 12 nights while attending the Wolrd JR. Hockey Championships. First time for the both of us staying at a Hostel, what a pleasant surprise and a fantastic stay we had at this hostel. The staff are so friendly and are always there to help you. It's a very clean hostel , as far as the WI-FI ,... More

Nice, quiet hostel in an absolutely amazing part of the city. convenient stores nearby to do food shopping (eating out in Finland is not the cheapest!) and extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff always on-call. Only downside is not having an elevator, but don't pack like me and you're set! Ah, but quiet hours start at 11pm or midnight or so... More

We had a great stay here! The hostel itself is quite quiet and the staff will go out of their way to ensure everyone is being respected! The hostel is only a 10-15 minute walk from the city center and all major attractions. We really enjoyed our stay and met some great people!

Good hostel, quite old facilities but really well located. Wifi is poor but you don't travel to Helsinki to spend your time in a dorm room on the Internet. Room could get quite hot at times and the one key per room could be a hassle for some people. Staff were friendly and kitchen area was large and well equipped.... More

A good location for a hostel as it is within easy walking distance of most things in Helsinki; the best location I could find. Clean and tidy. A small living space and not very social but if that doesn't bother you I would recommend it for a short stay.

Location is excellent for all major sights and entertainment. The hostel itself is based high up in a histiric building, and inevitably suffers from the limitations caused by age. My private room was rather tired and in need of some TLC (new curtains, redecoration etc) although the shared toilet/shower was clean and rarely busy, and the service was friendly and... More

The only positive thing I can muster about this hostel is such a great location. It's near the main train station in Helsinki, so you can pretty much get to whatever place you want to go with ease. It's also close to nice pubs and restaurants, like Liberty or Death and Bar Nine. The wifi is extremely weak and you... More

It's actually quite a nice place. Beds are metal but not wobbly and squeaky, they are very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped. I stayed in both the 8 and the 5 bed rooms. 8 bed room can get quite stuffy if the heat is on, I had to turn it off a couple times. Finland is full of friendly... More
