There is free hotel parking. Hotel requirements to park only at designated area and to park only with parking ticket does not meet the reality.
There is free sauna in the hotel in the evening.
Hotel is very calm .Service in there are pleasant and friendly, they are helped to us in all the questions what we have asked. The guy on reception confused and gave to us key from the room what was unmade but we got new key from maid during minute after error detection and reception's guy called to us and apologized for mistake.
We got clean, сomfortable and spacious twin room, the same i can say about bathroom. You can find a standard set of objects what typical for 3 stars hotel like shower gel/shampoo, hairdryer, TV, towels and something like this. We just didn't like lack of air conditioning though in description of rooms they wrote, they have air conditioning in all the rooms. It was august mounth and pretty hot and sunny weather on the street therefore in room was very stuffily and opened window doesn't help.
About price i think it's a bit overestimated and even breakfast is not included, you need to extra pay for this. Also location is not best if you need to visit center of Helsinki often and it turns out is not economical option. We are selected this place only because we booked the hotel for one day before coming and we had not choise. So i don't think i'll visit it again if i need to stay in central area most of time but generally is not bad place and i reccomend it if central location is dosen't matter for you.
Breakfast was not icluded in the price and for 8 Euros you get a terrible breakfast!! Poor fried bacon. Very bad bread. Everything was finished and we had to ask to get some more of almost everything. In the end we had to pay for the breakfast as well. We will not stay here again! Very bad handled by the staff.

the room though was basic. The bed was comfortable. However the chair in the room sagged, and the light fixture above my bed had an unprotected wire rubbing against a metal flange. There are no hand towels and a soap dish by the shower. The room was not cleaned or rubbish removed on saturday or sunday. When i enquired about this i was blandly told that the cleaner had not turned up.I endorse everything said about breakfast by the other reviewer having personally killed at least one ant!I hope to attach photos including one which will show uncovered wires trailing across the breakfast room floor.I too had the worry of arriving back at the hotel at 8pm only to find the place locked and having to ring a security guard to gain access. So do yourself a favour and dont go to this hotel. It may not be the worst that i have been to but it is in worst 10 ever.
Part of the hotel building seems to be used for offices. There is no cleaning or towel replacement over the weekend. In fact the reception is locked with no staff present at all after Sunday breakfast. Quite worrying, as we had a fire alarm incident during our stay. Don't know what we would have done, if it had happened on the Sunday.
There is now quite good free wireless internet, plus free use of computer, if requested. The rooms on the 4th floor are a good size with walk-in shower. Others complained of smoky smelling rooms on floor 2. No hand towels are provided. Instead, there is a paper towel dispenser, but bath towels are changed daily during the week. No tea or coffee making facility.
The TV was very small with no English speaking channels and could not be switched off with the remote. The beds, while initially comfortable, had a 3 inch foam rubber waffle type mattress overlay, which when combined with the usual cheap hotel duvet means waking up feeling too hot and clammy.
The breakfast room looks as if it had last been decorated (or cleaned) many years ago. The food choice was very poor, with cheap ingredients. Even so, the ants seem to enjoy it. There was no facility for evening meal. So it meant a trip over to the supermarket even to get a snack or a drink. Just as well the tap water in Finland is so good.
The attitude of the staff, was summed up, by the fact that a new patio had be laid with new table and chairs. Yet a couple of the chairs had been knocked over and laid on their sides for most of the time we were there.
A very handy place to stay if you can put up with the shortcomings. However, I wouldn't stay there again.
The breakfast starts a bit later during the weekends so we couldn't had breakfast, because we had to catch the train and go to the port for a one day trip to Tallinn.
Some of the staff members were all right, but there was a different person working at the reception every day so we had to explain everything all over again (we had some changes that needed to be made).
