Great location, near the waterfront and beautiful walking areas. The food was incredible. Very clean rooms with excellent service. Staff was extremely welcoming. The rooms Need air conditioning in summer and fall!
Amazing natural setting close to downtown. The view from the room was breathtaking and the wildlife was entertaining. My wife was thrilled by the abundance of wild strawberries on the grounds. Everything was wonderful.
Stayed here during a meeting with early September 2021. First business trip since the COVID pandemic. The hotel is really comfortable and location is convenient for the conference center, but a little outside the city center. Rooms are spacious, but a bit outdated in terms of interior (1990’s style). The hotel is not run down, but you can see the glory days are a bit in the past. Breakfast was good quality, nice spread of things to choose. Restaurant was also nice, good dinner and nice view of the sea. The area is quiet, some nice nature, good area to go for a run. All in all good stuff, but not extraordinary.
I have stayed at this hotel before and return to it for one reason, namely the location directly on a lake. Depending on where one's room is, that allows for very pleasant views. I assume my perception of the place might be very different were I given another room, but so far I have always been given one with a view. Other positives were: - bathtub and separate shower stall - heated floor in the bathroom - pool Negatives: - no executive lounge - bags with snacks I don't eat and wine I don't drink distributed on arrival (whether for all guests or HHonors diamond I don't know) - almost 30-minute tram ride to city center - weak fitness facilities - deficient breakfast (at which no one wore serving gloves): standard lox rather than cold baked salmon, no herring, no potatoes, somewhat tasteless mixed vegetables It would be easy to justify three stars but on the basis of the view I give four.…
Good service, beautiful location & view, but not beautiful rooms. Old furniture, walls dirty, bathroom floor looks dirty. AD not working at all and not fresh air in the room. This is not Hilton & 4* hotel. We very disapointed.
