Hotel Anna has a great location in the heart of Helsinki. Punavuori-area is great. There are many cafees and restaurants in a short walking distance. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. The service at the reception is nice and polite.
Thanks to all hotel management and staff for providing us such friendly and clean accommodation! Hotel Anna is located in Helsinki city center. You can find many sightseeing, restaurants, night life or other attractions within walking distance to hotel. Staff is very gentle and friendly. There is quite good selection for breakfast. Hotel is clean. It is possible to have nice rest without any noise. We will stay there in case we visit Helsinki once again in future!
Good location for touring around- tram to RR station nearby and an easy walk there as well. The room is clean, basic and comfortable. It was a hot week and opening the windows let in the noise from the bars on the street - very noisy. My advice is to get a room on the back courtyard. The breakfast is great - big variety and good.
I spent 2 nights in this hotel in the center of Helsinki (about 1km from the Market Square). Room, bathroom and breakfast were very good. The front desk staff was very friendly and took the time to answer my questions. If I were to come back to Helsinki I would definitely stay here again.
Great location with good public transfer connections (appreciated when arriving with luggage) and very friendly service! I stayed 3 nights in a cosy single room; quiet, clean and warm with windows to open. Nice breakfast with lots of variety. I'd book again and have already recommended for friends! (Four points as I'd prefer a bit harder mattress)
Clean, quiet rooms, warm breakfast, good service, great location in the center. Nice places to eat nearby, stores of different kinds, sport pubs. Basically nothing to complain, apart from the fact that the breakfast could be geener, more vegetables and fruits would make it full blown.
Our family stayed two nights at Hotel Anna. Family room was good, but a bit old-dated. Clean, warm, possibility to open the window, fridge, microwave (which we did not use), kettle, water tap. The only armchair was in the corridor (which was weird) and we had to move it so that children would not hit themselves when going to the toilet during the night. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice to those who did not have coeliac diseace, but for gluten free it was weak. There was bread and flakes but on Sat morning nothing else, for normal people there was at least 10 nice things like pancakes etc. I took the last bread and the next gluten free obviously got nothing, I guess. We missed bacon and crumbled eggs 😀. I would book a room here for the next time, too.
Looking for a hotel in Helsinki with an excellent location, hearty breakfast to kick-start your day, and great value for your your money? Hotel Anna can offer you all that plus all the charms of an old building. I stayed in the superior single room for 2 nights. The the room was clean and the size was perfect for me. All the major sights, museums, and cools shops are just a walking distance away. I'll be coming again!
very nice hotel situated very close to cults records shops: Digelius and Erone, and rockabilly clothes shop(Garageland). Don't miss the Helsinki Biennal on superb Vallisaari island and i recommand also the trip by boat to Isosaari, beautifull and wild island.
Great value for your money in a city with otherwise quite expensive (and partly quite soul-less) hotels. I was positively surprised. The cheapest single room was small but practical. My bathroom was clean and nice. Shelfspace was useful. The office desk was big enough for my need (I was writing). There were little problems but the friendly staff helped promptly. The breakfast was definitely tasty and varied enough for the price! The only problem that may ruin someone's visit is that the rooms are too warm - there is no AC. Luckily it wasn't that warm outside (for July); they lent me a window key opener and keeping the bigger window open day and night helped to make the room cooler. To conclude, being a Finn myself, I really liked the continental, non-Finnish, timeless feel and smell of this smallish hotel.…
