The hotel was clean and nice. Lobby was beautiful and we got some welcoming drinks. The rooms were quiet and bed was very comfortable. Friendly staff. Good location. The breakfast was very good. A lot of fresh options and warm bread. I have visited many four-star hotels in Finland and the breakfast in Folks Hotel Konepaja was one of the best I have had.

We had a 4 night stay at the folks hotel in a double room. Friendly staff on arrival and we were able to leave our cases in the luggage room until our check in time. The hotel is funky and the room cosy, stylish and clean. The only down side was the two single beds pushed together to make a double and 2 single quilts rather than a double quilt. Hotel is opposite a tram line and a 10 minute walk to the mall/train station. Would recommend this hotel for your stay in Helsinki <3

We stayed here for two nights with a friend group. The style of the hotel was not that great or warm. Just not my cup of tea, but someone else might like it a lot! also, the customer service at the hotel was kinda low effort. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.

Very nice hotel conveniently located in a quiet area. The rooms are spacious and modern with very comfortable beds. Everything is clean and tidy both in the rooms and throughout the hotel. The staff is very friendly. I appreciate that they are so pet-friendly. The hotel is also situated in an area where it's easy to take the dog for a walk.

I am writing this from the hotel right now. What a friendly, cool, beautiful facility. Furnished in an unpretentious, Scandinavian style -- with solid colors everywhere and clean lines. Fairly unornamented. An old converted factory (ecologically conscious). Lots of white and charcoal. The district itself is awesome -- very welcoming in the summer. Very walkable. The front desk clerks were so kind and polite upon checkin. We were tremendously jetlagged from our flight from the West Coast of the United States. They were so nice, and gave us a small fruit smoothie, to make up for our plane's dramatic, wobbly landing. But -- truly -- the thing that set this apart was the breakfast. Served in an exposed-brick underground dining room, the foods were utterly delicious. Gooseberry jam, whipped porridge, traditional lihapiirakka (meat pies), and a delicious butter for the bread, cool mini sausages, egg butter. Really every dish was perfectly executed. …

Very comfortable, cool and cozy hotel for a reasonable price, the style and atmosphere are really neat too. Stayed with my dog and the pet service was great, plus got a room upgrade as a birthday surprise from the hotel which was incredibly nice. Hotel and rooms were clean and well equipped, comfy bed, good location - absolutely no complaints. Staff was really friendly and helpful too.

We had a great getaway weekend at Folks hotel with my wife. Service was very good during the whole stay. Room (Loft) was excellent. Tempur beds were so good and little "kitchen" was a nice plus. Big plus also from Rituals products in the bathroom. Breakfast was one of the best we have had and we travel a lot. Selection wasn't so wide but quality was great. Also the athmosphere in the restaurant was perfect for us. Location of the hotel is good. There are lot of nice places near and it is easy to go to city center by public transport if needed. We only stayed in the neighbourhood which is our favourit in Helsinki.

Nothing but praise for this wonderful hotel. Very friendly staff, spacious rooms with lots of attention to detail, a welcome drink waiting in the fridge, a very comfortable bed and truly superb food in the Albina restaurant. Located in a quiet neighborhood very close to Pasila station and tram n° 9 at the doorstep that brings you directly to the heart of the city.

better than expected, and surrounded by a lot of nice bars and restaurants, a great experience The bedroom was really comfortable, bed was great and the bath room was good too. Also the spa experience was great. The only thing that could be better was the breakfast ...but the rest was really good.

We stayed at the hotel for one night on the New Year's Eve. The furnishing was modern and tidy yet cozy. The atmosphere was warm and the staff was friendly. A nice addition to our stay was that our room was upgraded to a standard plus, free of charge. The reason for the upgrade was unclear though. The breakfast was alright, although falsely advertised by the hotel staff as having 'everything' for vegans, when in reality there was no vegan butter for bread for example.
