Very modern and clean hotel. Nice architecture, build in 2020? Friendly staff and amazing rooftop wellness and spa area! Rooms are smaller than usual but still comfy and full of quality materials which makes the stay enjoyable. Menu in the hotel restaurant was quite short but still seems there is something for everyone.

A room was exellent. We went to the breakfast 50min before its close and there was lot of people. Baskets and plates are pretty empty and breakfast was only one side on the table. I ask and i heard that other people ask too, to fill those bowls and baskets etc. So, the breakfast was a bit disappointment but food was good when we get that.

I attended for a two day course which was held at the hotel and stayed overnight. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are practical and so clean everywhere. Quiet rooms and the whole hotel too. Wellness area on the roof was absolutely worth some extra payment after a long day. Tasty breakfast and friendly staff members. Small grocery shop is within 5min walk and busses and trams go right beside the hotel. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Valo for a couple of days and enjoyed the modern rooms and the excellent breakfasts. My favourite thing at Valo was the interior design and the altogether cleanliness. We had a wellness area which included a sauna and multiple different spa-like qualities. The rooms were neat and everything was brand new. If you’re staying at Helsinki I highly recommend Valo for a relaxing stay.

I came from russia with an Israelian passport they didnt allow me to check in without a deposit and i came as a student with a bujget of 200 euros for 2 days They took me 100 as a deposit and they didn’t accept my russian card as a deposit wich i payed for the hotel using it neather my israelian passport as a deposit I travel all around the world and every hotel in the world except my passport as a deposit Right now instead of being on a trip on a new country im living on minimum standards thanks to the hotel policies

Unfortunately, the hotel requires (from all customers), a valid credit card upon check-in, if the customer does not have a valid credit card, we will take €150 in cash as a guarantee, on your case we took only 100€ for your convenience. I am sorry that the your credit card does not work in the EU area, unfortunately the hotel cannot do anything about this, also we cannot accept any country's a passport as a guarantee. I am sorry that this was not pleasant for you. The hotel's rules can be read on the hotel's website.
