Eurohostel is one of the largest hostels in Scandinavia that is open all year round. The hostel is located in central Helsinki in a unique part of the town close by the Market Square (Access to Suomenlinna sea fortress), Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral and Allas Sea Pool. Also many other sights, shops and restaurants are within walking distance and the ferries from Stockholm and Tallinn and arrive just a few steps away!

The common areas were not very good, they were not clean, the pillows were too small, it was cold inside the rooms, the air conditioning or heating was not working, the breakfast was terrible. The location is not too far, you can even walk to the center, but I don't know if I would choose it again.

Clean and nicely priced place to stay in Helsinki. Great location too and morning sauna service is amazing. Staff is kind and helpful. Kitchen could be better equipped (it does not include things like salt, oil etc) but all the necessary items are available.

It was easy to book using your very good website and follow up contact was excellent (upgrade to single room with TV) . Receptionists were friending and helpful . Rooms/ facilities are good . Sauna excellent !

If you travel to Helsinki and you want to have a real homebase: Eurohostel it is! Wonderful people @ the reception and you can sleep safe and sound. Morning sauna was 😊. Close to the Allas Pool 🩵 and Viking Terminal. Will be back for sure.

There are not too many hostels with 2 persons dormitarys anywhere. In Eurohostel they are available (for 32 €/person/night) and as the rooms are long but narrow, both persons have their own privacy. Free sauna in the morning gives a good start for the day. See you soon.

One of the best hostel you could be. Everything is clean and tiny. Great location and very friendly staff. Huge closet you can easily manage your stuff. Very quiet area. Check-in and check-out was super efficient with perfect instructions.

Standard 2 person room was okay. The tables were little bit dusty and window curtains were too narrow. Bed was good. Evening and morning saunas were really nice. Breakfast was good. The staff in the reception was very nice and helpful. Sound insulation was good in this room.

I stayed in standard 2 person room - comfortable, fairly clean, good soundproofing. Bathrooms were fine though a bit tight, 2 toilets and seperate 3 showers (womens). Room was a little dusty under table/beds, mattress ok but not great, and lumpy pillows. Sheets, duvet, towel provided. Shared kitchen was limited in supplies and also a bit awkward when more than 4 using - on 5th floor, no sharp knives only butter knives, no coffee maker/pour over/French press of any sort, and fridge had not been cleaned out in weeks (I tossed food from an open pot that was going moldy). A bin of communal shared items was handy for salt , butter, etc. Electric hot plate burner, electric kettle, microwave provided and very basic cookware. With kitchen, I did not make use of the paid breakfast downstairs, and restaurant menu was limited for dinner - unsuitable for vegetarian/vegans. Laundry downstairs was great and very fair at 1€ cold wash, 2€ hot wash, and dryer, only 2 washers and one dryer so just mind your time. Since I booked online on website, I had free morning and evening sauna - only used in evening very enjoyable, authentic and clean. Two supermarkets within walking distance, KMarket was best. Would book again but encourage hostel to do better management of kitchen. …

The bathroom and washroom seems awkward as they are outside the dormitory and there are bad smell there. In the bedroom, the quality seems okay, however, less flow of air inside the room makes it feel like unfresh air when you get into the room from outdoor.
