Detailed Reviews
The hostel is in very good location and the tram is just a short walk outside the hostel
The room is very basic but comfortable and had a good night sleep
The Bathing facilities is shared and there is never a queue to wait for someone out of the shower.
The kitchen facilities is lovely and we do sometimes have to come back to cook when there is someone cooking and the kitchen is filled with people
The tram number four takes you there from the main central station. (Airport train to main station then tram four to the hostel)
We would stay there again as it is good value for money and had computer on site as well as sauna up the top floor

I enjoyed the staying in the hostel. There's no much I could compain about. One tip I'd like to give is that if you could leave two towels per customer, another big one and another small one, so there would no need to use an air dryer for hands in a bathroom at all. I was pretty happy with a breakfast but wondering if it could be done with more dishes at the same price?

Very affordable, clean, safe and quiet sparse rooms in a convenient location. Bare minimum rooms are fine. Most of the travellers are university age so showers and breakfast before 8:30 am works well if you can wake before them. Sauna as well. The rooms are thoughtfully sealed and really soundproofed well and I heard nothing outside my room. Staff is helpful and courteous. Well run in general. Breakfast is fair, but so cheap, I cannot complain. If you book ahead of time through a third party you will be offered a discount if you avoid paying for breakfast in advance for breakfast. IKEA meatballs and scrambled eggs with peas and watered down coffee - but at this price no complaints. Lots of green initiatives too. I respect this place’s owners. Much less waste than an expensive hotel.

+1
The hostel itself is very basic, which isn't surprising when you pay so little in a city like helsinki. But even when you don't have to pay alot you still like it to be clean, the hairs that were left on the sheets makes me believe these weren't changed. also the floor was still dirty.
The location was good, and the staff was friendly, and maybe if I was really on a budget i'd comeback, but otherwise i'd just pay more for a cleaner place.

I stay in this hostel every time I come to Helsinki. I like the location and the value for money. For quite a little money, you get proximity to the center, sauna and breakfast + rooms for a maximum of 3 people, which gives a feeling of comfort. The staff is very friendly and ready to help with all questions!
Another important indicator for me is a loyalty card, the more I stay in a hostel, the more nights I can get a free night, great!

My friends and I stayed in a 3 single beds bedroom ! The room was spacious and very clean ! We were agreeably surprised by the cleanliness of the place: the shared bathrooms and toilets as well as the kitchen were very clean at any hour of the day. The staff is very efficient and welcoming.
The hostel is located about 15 -20min walk from the city center and the tram is right next to it if you don't feel like walking. The price is very low and the service is great ! I totally recommend Eurohostel for your stay in Helsinki !

I had a pleasant stay at Eurohostel.
I had a small and quiet single room on the 5th floor, I could have a proper sleep because my room was on the courtyard side.
Great location: there is a tram stop directly around the corner, but the city center and the central station can be reached by walking distance as well!
Breakfast wasn't big, but I think it's because of c*vid so they just offer a simple and quick breakfast at the moment, which is totally fine and more than enough (not all hotels/hostels serve breakfast atm tho).
Staff was kind and helpful, they provided me a to go breakfast and arranged a taxi for me in the middle of the night.
Rooms and shared toilets are always clean.
The only one negative point is the mattress (it isn't so high and I had backpain as I woke up).

This was my second stay at Eurohostel and I was pleased to notice, that a good stay there seems to be a rule. I enjoyed the service when checking in, the cleanliness and peacefulness of the house and the great location: behind the house runs tram line 4 with which you can reach many important places in the city. Katajanokka is also is also a good spot for a fan of old houses: there are a plenty of them.

I had a great time in Helsinki and part of it was due to this accommodation. It has breakfast included and it is a good way to start your day, especially if you are running to the airport and you don't have time for it - they will prepare a takeaway breakfast for you. The location is close to the port, so if you arrive late in the evening form Tallinn, like I did, you walk 5 minutes and then you can crash on the bed. The only thing is that if you have really loud neighbors like I had (one time a Spanish music loving person and then an angry Italian), the walls are no match for them. But I think this is more about the people than about the facility. All in all., I recommend this stay in charming Helsinki!

Located in the Katajonokka area, the heart of the Art Deco of the Capital. You arrive comfortably with two tram lines (4 and 5) and is right in front of the Helsinki marina (if you arrive with cruise ships or Viking line ferries); we were offered an upgrade of the room (from budget to standard), in the price is included the use of the sauna in the morning. Breakfast is for a fee (11,90€) and is a buffet, quite varied, especially more salty. The shared bathrooms and showers are cleaned several times during the day and we always found them in very good condition. Both the area and the structure are very quiet. Laundry service available for a few €.

Sometimes yes when the chair or the table is being moved across the room and or when someone is laughing. When the window is open during the summer month and you can hear them from outside. But they have a noise curfew and it must be respected and quiet after certain times.
Yes it is very close a short walk or a few tram stop not far.
1.4 km to city I would say Senate Square is somewhat like 600-800 metres away
You can buy all day travel pass for €10 per day or €15 for two days or €20 for three days. Tram stop at literally two minutes walk from Eurohostel and you can upgrade your room if you wish.
Bathing suits are okay and it is separate for male and female. There is a small shower as well and room for changing.
Take the train to the main train station in town - exit thru the front doors - turn right and walk up the hill to the major tram stop - take tram 4 going left - ask the driver to let you off at the hostel which is maybe a ten minute ride
